  • Patent number: 7021946
Abstract: An elastic connector integrated with electrodes on at least either a chip-type LED or a circuit board facing each other is sandwiched and compressed by the chip-type LED and the circuit board so as to provide an electric connection. The thus obtained integrated connector is thin and cost-effective while able to provide a secure conductivity between the electrodes of the printed circuit board and the chip-type LED in a simple connection method, and a LED including the integrated connector also is provided.

  • Patent number: 6973720
Abstract: Method for manufacturing an elastic connector, integrated with an electrode of at least either a chip-type LED or a printed circuit board on which a LED element is directly mounted and to which the LED is electrically connected. The LED-integrated connector can subsequently be mounted on another circuit board by being sandwiched and compressed between a lower surface of the chip-type LED or lower surface of the LED-mounted printed circuit board and the other circuit board to which the LED-integrated connector is being mounted, so as to provide an electric connection. The method providing a LED-integrated connector which is thin and cost-effective while able to provide a simple and secure conductivity between electrodes of the chip-type LED and other circuit board, to which the LED-integrated connector is subsequently mounted.

  • Patent number: 5807507
Abstract: By adding an additive containing boron to a silicone rubber composition, a self-fusing conductive silicone rubber composition is provided, that is easy to use, can be tightly fused without adhesive processing of the tape's surface, can shield electromagnetic waves, prevent static electricity, and is thus very efficient in preventing damages. The silicone rubber composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a high polymerization degree organopolysiloxane, more than 0 but not more than 100 parts by weight of a reinforcement silica powder with a relative surface area of at least 50 m.sup.2 /g, more than 0 but not more than 100 parts by weight of an increased weight quasi-reinforcement filling agent with a relative surface area of at least 2 m.sup.2 /g at least one conducting component selected from the group consisting of more than 10 but not more than 150 parts by weight of carbon black and more than 1 but not more than 400 parts by weight of a metal powder, between 0.

  • Patent number: 5247136
Abstract: An apparatus for manufacturing a resin cord with enclosed fine metal wires is provided as a unit, in which fine metal wires are supplied from a nipple to a die while extruding a resin around the nipple into the die for burying the fine metal wires in the resin in the length direction of a hollow or solid resin cord, the nipple having a central space in its section perpendicular to the extruding direction and also fine metal wire supply grooves joining the central space, a nozzle made of a wear-resistant material being provided in the central space. The outer diameter of the cord is 0.3 to 2.0 mm, the thickness of the resin part is 0.1 mm or above, the diameter of fine metal wires is 0.03 to 0.2 mm, and the thickness of the resin part is greater than the diameter of the fine metal wires.
