  • Publication number: 20030053101
Abstract: If the tray for the copy mode is set at the position corresponding to the discharge port when the copy key is operated, an image is immediately read and the read image is printed on a paper sheet. If the tray for the copy mode is not set at the position corresponding to the discharge port, the tray for the copy mode is moved to the position corresponding to the discharge port, an image is read after completion of trays motion, and the read image is printed on a paper sheet. If the tray for the printer mode is set at the position corresponding to the discharge port when an image is inputted to the input section for the printer mode, the inputted image is immediately printed on a paper sheet. If the tray for the printer mode is not set at the position corresponding to the discharge port, the tray for the printer mode is moved to the position corresponding to the discharge port and the inputted image is printed after completion of trays motion.

  • Patent number: 6104420
Abstract: After the digital copier has been assembled, a magnification error is calculated. The magnification error is a size ratio of a 100% copied image to an original image. The main CPU of the copier changes the rotational speed of the polygon-mirror driving motor to a new speed, in accordance with the magnification error. Further, the main CPU changes the speed of the main motor for the photosensitive drum in accordance with the new speed of the polygon-mirror driving motor. Therefore, the magnification of any copied image can be minutely adjusted by changing the rotational speed of the polygon-mirror and photosensitive dram.

  • Patent number: 5519498
Abstract: An image-forming apparatus which forms an image in an oblique print mode in units of blocks which are separated by line spaces. Every time the count value of the white-dot counter 96 reaches the predetermined value, it is determined that an image block is spaced apart from the preceding one. The data item representing the first line of the image block is not shifted at all, and the data items representing the following lines of the image block are shifted by the distance proportional to the angle, by twice said distance, by thrice said distance, and so on. As a result, the image data is printed on a paper sheet, in an oblique form, with no parts extending outside the paper sheet.

  • Patent number: 5310441
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for automatically binding a silicon wafer to a carrier plate. In the binding method of the present invention, the wafer is positioned underneath the carrier plate and then lifted and bonded to the carrier plate, at or below atmospheric pressure: once this is accomplished the process returns to the previous pressure. In addition, in the apparatus which performs this process, by means of a carrier means which supplies the carrier plate and wafer to the location where binding is to be carried out, the binding surface of the carrier plate and wafer are turned upward, transported and the carrier plate is flipped around in the interval between the carrier plate transportation apparatus and the binding unit.

  • Patent number: 4944650
Abstract: An apparatus for detecting an orientation flat of a wafer and centering the wafer includes a hand base, a pair of guide rollers mounted on the hand base, and a stopper mechanism mounted on the hand base. The hand base is operable to be located in opposed relation to one of opposite faces of the wafer, and has an axis therealong. The guide rollers serve to support the wafer located in opposed relation to the hand base, and are symmetrically disposed with respect to the axis of the hand base. The stopper mechanism cooperates with the pair of guide rollers to center the wafer, and are movable along the axis of the hand base and engageable with the orientation flat of the wafer.
