  • Publication number: 20130266280
Abstract: The photoelectric composite cable 11 includes: an optical fiber 12; and a plurality of three or more electric wires 15, wherein, in a case where a cross-section of the photoelectric composite cable is viewed in a direction perpendicular to the cross-section, the plurality of electric wires 15 are each independently arranged on a circumference of a periphery of the optical fiber 12. The photoelectric composite cable 11 can be smoothly wired in a narrow space or the like while maintaining good transmission characteristics of optical fibers 12 by suppressing the optical fibers 12 from being applied with an external force without an increase in the diameter of the cable 11.

  • Patent number: 8455761
Abstract: A coaxial cable includes an insulator having void portions continuing in a longitudinal direction, a central conductor covered with the insulator, and an outer conductor arranged on an outer circumference of the insulator. Each of the void portions is formed to have a circular or elliptical cross section, and the void portions are evenly arranged in the insulator in a set of six to nine. In a cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the coaxial cable, a void ratio of the entire void portions is 43% or more. The void ratio is a proportion of the void portions to a sum of a total area of all the void portions and an area of the insulator.

  • Publication number: 20100212933
Abstract: The present invention provides a small-diameter coaxial cable in which the same electrical and mechanical characteristics as in the prior art can be maintained and costs do not increase. The coaxial cable comprises a central conductor including three twisted wires and having a cross-sectional area of 0.005 mm2 or less, a fluororesin insulation for covering the central conductor, an outer conductor disposed on the external periphery of the insulation, and a jacket for covering the outer conductor. The adhesive force between the central conductor and the insulation is one third or less the tensile strength of the central conductor. The method for manufacturing the coaxial cable comprises twisting three wires together to form a central conductor having a cross-sectional area of 0.
