Abstract: A light, comfortable, lined shoe made of soft synthetic resin that employs another more durable hot-melt bond synthetic resin in the critical heel and foot entry opening regions to prevent shape distortion over the long term is provided. An extremely simple method of manufacture allows the shoe to be made inexpensively in quantity.

Abstract: A shoe with a synthetic resin shell that is easily and inexpensively mass produced, and which is both water proof and provides ventilation included a number of ventilation holes in the shell. The size of the ventilating holes are such that surfaces tension forces prevent water from entering the shoe through the ventilation holes.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing an instep cover section of a footwear, comprising placing an instep cover member in a molding cavity, pressure-injecting molten synthetic resin material into the cavity, and thus connecting the synthetic resin material with the instep cover member whereby the synthetic resin material and the instep cover member form at least the main part of the three-dimensional instep cover section of a footwear. Also, a footwear comprises an upper including prefabricated members connected with resin sections.

Abstract: Footwear is provided with pressure projections in the inside thereof for locally stimulating vital points distributed on the skin of the foot. Each of said pressure projections is composed of a pressure projection body and a projection core attached at the upper portion of the pressure protection body. The projection core is relatively hard and the pressure projection body is softer than said core attached at the upper portion of the pressure projection body. When wearing this footwear, the projection bodies press on vital points of the feet, and the projection cores on the upper portion of the body stimulate locally the vital points of the feet, and due to both of these actions a comfortable and pleasant wearing feeling is obtained.

Abstract: A footwear includes a bottom body formed from soft synthetic resin and a hard or semihard core material laid on the bottom body. The bottom body has a pressure projection protruding upwards from the upper face of the core material and there is provided a fitting construction for the core material of the peripheral edge of the pressure projection, whereby the core material is secured to the bottom body at the fitting construction. The pressure projection of this footwear provides a comfortable wearing feeling and strongly locks the core material laid on the bottom body, preventing disengagement thereof from the bottom body.

Abstract: A footwear is provided with pressure projections adapted to pressure-stimulate effective spots of a foot and provide simulated finger-pressure treatment. Each of the pressure projections has a magnet for applying magnetism to the effective spots. The effective spots of the foot are therefore subjected to the multiple stimulating effects obtained by the pressure stimulation due to the pressure projections and the magnetic stimulation due to the magnets.

Abstract: A method .[.for.]. .Iadd.of .Iaddend.producing an injection molded article comprises positioning pre-formed sections made of cloth or the like in the cavity of an injection mold, injecting the molten resinous material into the remainder of the cavity and cooling the material to a condition under which the latter is cured and integrally connected to the pre-positioned sections. The article produced by the above method comprises at least sections and connecting members adapted to connect said sections to each other.
