  • Patent number: 6382838
Abstract: Disclosed is a plain bearing having a back metal, a bearing alloy layer and an overlay layer, in which the bearing alloy layer and the overlay layer are formed on the inner surface of the metal in this order. The inner surface of the bearing alloy is provided with circumferential broad width recesses and narrow recesses in which the overlay material is filled. The fatigue resistance and were resistance are ensured by the zone of the narrow width recesses. The plain bearing exhibits high embeddability for a foreign substance by presence of the zone of the broad width recesses.

  • Patent number: 6342176
Abstract: The object of the invention is to provide a method for molding a resin-molded article having an excellent surface appearance without any resin-intrusion part on the front surface of a skin thereof. In the invention, the skin is placed on a part of a inner wall of a mold and then injecting a synthetic resin into a cavity of the mold to effect an integral molding of a resin-molded article having the skin on a part thereof, wherein a mold having a first gate on a first inner wall part located on the part other than the back surface of the skin placed on the inner wall of said mold and a second gate on a second inner wall part which faces the back surface of the skin placed on the inner wall is employed; and wherein the synthetic resin is first injected from said first gate until the tip portion of the synthetic resin comes close to the edge of said skin, and then the synthetic resin is injected from the second gate.

  • Patent number: 6332553
Abstract: An annular groove is formed in a cap body of a cap. An elongated coupling member has a ring part formed integrally therewith, and is coupled to the cap as the ring part is engaged in the annular groove. The cap and the coupling member are each formed of electroconductive resin, and the surface resistance from the cap to the vehicle is set to be greater than or equal to 1×1012 &OHgr; and less than 5.30×1012 &OHgr;. Hence, when the human body is brought into contact with the cap, static electricity in the human body is discharged to the vehicle side, and no shock is imparted to the human body. In addition, the amount of residual charge also declines without causing secondary spark discharge.

  • Publication number: 20010024536
Abstract: In order to provide a plain bearing excellent in the anti-seizure property, a bearing metal layer is provided with a plurality of recesses different in depth on the inner surface thereof so as to form an uneven textured portion thereon, the recesses being filled with a soft overlay layer. At the beginning of the use, the overlay layer develops the conformability. When the wear proceeds to the wear level I so that the shallow recesses disappear, an intermediate layer or the bearing metal layer forming protrusions is exposed and form a condition in which the overlay is mixed. Furthermore, when the wear proceeds to the wear level II, the shallow recesses disappear while the deep recesses remain, so that the condition hardly to cause the seizure is maintained.

  • Patent number: 6004498
Abstract: A resin part such as an instrument panel, a console box or door trim has a substrate body made of hard resin and a skin mounted on a surface of the substrate. To produce the resin part, a preformed elastic sheet is set within a mold cavity. Then, a molten resin is injected into the cavity through gates. The molten resin is first injected into the cavity through gates that are opposed to the skin and after the passage of a predetermined time, the resin is injected through gates that are not opposed to the skin, thereby forming a substrate that has the skin thermally fused to a surface thereof.

  • Patent number: 5553262
Abstract: A cache memory apparatus allocates memory regions on the basis of information attributes. The required memory region corresponding to the attribute is accessed before caching is implemented. This enables considerable reduction in apparatus that would otherwise be required to be duplicated among different chips corresponding to the number of information attributes. In a multiple data processing implementation, cache memory regions are allocated for each data processor. The required memory regions of the cache memory are accessed in accordance with information specifying the data processor before caching is carried out. To avoid data collision when the main memory data is substantially rewritten, and when data having the same address and different access types exist simultaneously, data representing the type of access is stored. In response to a change in access, all data signals stored in each ways is nullified so that a plurality of data stored in the memory regions is not simultaneously output.

  • Patent number: 5535359
Abstract: A computer system is provided with a plurality of cache memories. Each cache memory stores data corresponding to part of main memory address space without overlapping with each other, thereby enabling capacity of the cache memory to be increased with ease. An address mask register is used to allocate the portion of main memory address space stored in each cache.

  • Patent number: 5185879
Abstract: A cache system which, when a cache is a bus master, puts a CPU in a standby state and makes effective a signal common to the CPU and cache and a signal decided only by the cache, or when the CPU is the bus master, makes effective the signal common to the CPU and cache and the signal decided only by the CPU, or when at a cache miss, the cache gives the CPU a control signal requesting reexecution of memory access and a control signal to allow the memory system to accept memory access to thereby operate the cache dependently on the CPU, so that even when either the CPU or the cache is the bus master, signal transmit-receive with respect to the memory system is adapted to be carried out substantially at the same timing.

  • Patent number: 4763302
Abstract: A memory array and associated control circuitry in which the cells of the array can be accessed according to at least two addressing configurations. A multiple-bit bit address can be applied directly to an address decoder or, responsive to control signals, the bits of the address can be rearranged before being applied to the decoder. Additionally, the width of the accessed word can be increased by optionally ignoring some of the address bits but then increasing the number of bits accessed in parallel.

  • Patent number: 4760291
Abstract: A semiconductor IC device of an asynchronous bus type which is in a selected state when a chip select signal applied to it is at a "H" level, comprises an external control signal line through which an external control signal is input, and a first and a second internal control signal lines for transfer of a first and a second control signals each of which is not activated when the other is activated. The first control signal is allocated to either the "H" level or the "L" level of the external control signal, and the second control signal is activated when the external control line is at the second level which is the inverse of the first level for the first control signal. An inhibit circuit is provided to prevent the second control signal from being erroneously activated while the first control signal is to be activated and when the first level of the external control signal begins after or terminates before the chip select signal.

  • Patent number: 4596939
Abstract: An input amplifier circuit, specifically, an input amplifier circuit for logic signals, in which noise signal components having a duration less than a predetermined duration are eliminated from the output signal of the amplifier. A delay circuit is added to the feedback loop of a Schmitt trigger amplifier circuit which has a delay time equal to the predetermined delay. The delay circuit effectively inhibits the output signal from changing state unless the input signal has a duration greater than the predetermined duration.
