  • Publication number: 20180213111
Abstract: A print processing system includes a server that includes a first storage that stores image processing information required to generate print data for each of print media and a print apparatus that executes printing based on the print data. The print apparatus includes a second storage that stores address information of the image processing information in the first storage in association with the print media and a transfer processor that is configured to transfer a request to the server with reference to the address information stored in the second storage. In a case of receiving the request, the server reads the image processing information from the first storage based on the referred address information and transmits the read image processing information to the image processing apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20160156811
Abstract: A color adjustment method includes: selecting, as a first color, a color of a color adjustment region in an image region of image data, from a color sample table printed on a medium similar to a medium to be used when an image based on the image data is printed (steps S1, S2); printing a color variable chart in which a plurality of colors are arranged with the first color at a center, on a medium similar to the medium to be used when the image is printed (step S4); selecting, as a second color, a color to be used for color adjustment in the color adjustment region, from the printed color variable chart (steps S5, S6); and converting the color of the color adjustment region in the image data into the second color (step S7).

  • Patent number: 7518744
Abstract: Conventionally, it has been impossible to perform a formatted print precisely corresponding to functions of various printers. To solve this problem, formatted print data and printer capability data are stored. When a print instruction is issued, formatted print candidates are presented based on the formatted print data. When a formatted print is selected from these candidates, the printer capability data is referenced to set a combination of print conditions for performing the formatted print and actually perform printing. The printer capability data is stored for each printer model. Therefore, a proper print condition can be set for each printer model to perform a given formatted print. As a result, it becomes possible to perform a formatted print precisely corresponding to printer functions.

  • Patent number: 7333239
Abstract: The present invention provides a technique that ensures control of a distinction among a plurality of printers affecting a resulting print in printing with a plurality of printers. A distributed printing system, in which a distributed print server 100 and a plurality of printers are connected, is constructed. The distributed server 100 pre-stores a standard look-up table that is preset, based on the type of printing media and a print mode, and correction data pre-stored in respective printers. Upon receiving a print job from any one of clients CL1˜CL3, the distributed print server 100 specifies an output printer to output the print job, based on operation condition. The distributed print server 100 generates a color conversion table using the standard look-up table and the correction data corresponding to the output printer, and transmits the color conversion data to the output printer as well as the print job.

  • Patent number: 7123274
Abstract: A combining drawing system includes storage means for storing a template defining a plurality of temporary coordinate systems A and B, the template defining a plurality of layout coordinates E, F, G, H, and J defined in any of the temporary coordinate systems; output setting means for setting a conversion parameter for converting the temporary coordinate system into an output coordinate system of a coordinate system of a drawing space; object input means for inputting at least one of objects output using the template; and output means for laying out the objects input through the object input means in the layout coordinates defined in the output coordinate system based on the template and the conversion parameter to create a composite image and expressing the created composite image in the drawing space.

  • Publication number: 20060155732
Abstract: Selection of a main file and entry of the name of a package file, an output destination folder, etc., are accepted (step S100), the files in the folder of the same name as the main file existing in the same folder as the selected main file are packaged as related files (step S110), and the packaged files are output as a package file based on the entered name and the output destination folder (S120). Consequently, a plurality of electronic files can be packaged for easy handling.

  • Publication number: 20040252340
Abstract: An image processing system, includes an operating unit, which select a first size of a reproducing medium, a size information acquiring unit, which acquires size information related to a template for defining a layout of an object, the size information indicating a second size of a reproducing medium, and a print control unit, which outputs an instruction for printing a predetermined object on the reproducing medium having the first size in accordance with the template. The first size is different from the second size indicated by the size information related to the template. The aspect ratio of the reproducing medium having the first size is equal to, or approximates to that of the reproducing medium having the second size.
