  • Patent number: 6041469
Abstract: A dust collector which comprises a long suction fan and a movable filter adaptable to the fan and whose filter permits dust itself caught thereon to function as a three-dimensional filter to thereby enable collection of micro dust.

  • Patent number: 5097943
Abstract: An apparatus transfers bobbins mounted on peg trays by way of an endless transmission belt trained about and driven by guide pulleys in a required passage. The apparatus comprises two elongated guides slidably contacting the peg trays and elastically embracing the peg trays between the elongated guides and the endless transmission belt. The endless transmission belt and the two elongated guides are twisted at required positions to twist a passageway of the peg trays formed by the transmission belt and the elongated guides. Therefore, the bobbins are able to pass through their passageway without interfering with each other.

  • Patent number: 5092116
Abstract: Apparatus for transferring empty and full bobbins to and from a plurality of juxtaposed spinning machines makes use of peg trays each having a peg engageable with a bobbin. The apparatus includes stationary bobbin transfer devices arranged on both sides of each spinning machine, and full bobbin and empty bobbin transfer conveyers both supported by a ceiling to intersect with the longitudinal direction of each spinning machine, above end portion of the stationary bobbin transfer devices thereof. The apparatus further includes a movable bobbin transfer device with an endless belt and linear guide members cooperating with the belt for resiliently engaging with each peg tray. The movable bobbin transfer device is arranged so as to be movable along the conveyers to receive empty bobbins from the empty bobbin transfer conveyer and deliver full bobbins to the full bobbins transfer conveyers.

  • Patent number: 5011000
Abstract: A bobbin carrier in a spinning machine for carrying out full-bobbins from one of a pair of carriers and carrying in empty bobbins to the other of the carriers through peg trays by a full-bobbins-carrying conveyor and an empty-bobbin-carrying conveyor to a plurality of spinning machines arranged in parallel with one another. An endless belt is provided over both of the carriers and the full-bobbins-carrying conveyor and the empty-bobbin-carrying conveyor, and pulleys guide the belt, further a motor is operatively connected to the belt to drive the belt. A pair of linear guiding members are arranged so as to extend along the belt and gasp pegs of peg trays. The belt carries the peg trays with grasping the trays elastically with pressure in cooperation with the guiding members. A full-bobbin-introducing portion is provided in the full-bobbin-carrying conveyor and allows giving and receiving of the peg trays from the belt to the full-bobbin-carrying conveyor.

  • Patent number: 4987645
Abstract: A first sliver in an exhaust can (2F) is introduced and held in a recess (38a) of a sliver piecing unit (38) while gripped by a sliver gripper (34). The first sliver is severed by the displacement of the gripper (34) away from the recess (38a) so that a trailing end of the first sliver is formed in the recess (38a). Next, a second sliver in a reserve can (2B) is introduced and held in the recess (38a) in the same way as for the first sliver and a leading end of thereof is formed in the recess (38a) so that the sliver ends overlap each other. The piecing operation is carried out on the overlapped sliver ends in a known manner.

  • Patent number: 4473997
Abstract: A method and apparatus for switching the relative position between roving bobbins held by bobbin hangers of a front row and the roving bobbins held by the rear row in a spinning frame. The roving bobbin exchange operation is carried out as successive unit operations from one end-side of the spinning frame to the other end-side thereof. In each unit operation, first the axial distance between a bobbin hanger of the front row and a bobbin hanger of the rear row, which are positioned adjacently in the lengthwise direction of the spinning frame, is reduced to a predetermined distance, then the relative position of those two bobbin hangers is reversely changed while maintaining the reduced axial distance. Thereafter, the axial distance between those two bobbin hangers is returned to the initial condition for carrying out the spinning operation.
