  • Patent number: 9711305
Abstract: A multidirectional switch device includes an assembled structure of a plurality of members, which include a user-operable button, and a holder that supports the assembled structure. The multidirectional switch device also includes a set of axial recesses and a set of axial projections that define a pivot axis about which the button pivots relative to the holder. The pivot axis is arranged to allow the holder to cooperate with the assembled structure for operation of the button in multiple directions. The holder includes one of the set of axial recesses and the set of axial projections. One of the members of the assembled structure other than the button includes the other one of the set of axial recesses and the set of axial projections.

  • Patent number: 9017083
Abstract: A vehicle grounding device includes an attachment member electrically conductive with a vehicle body, an attached member in which an electrical component is incorporated, and an insulator configured to include a conductor being electrically conductive with the electrical component, an insulative member covering the conductor, and a grounding terminal being electrically conductive with the conductor and protruded from the insulative member. The insulator is configured to be attached to the attached member. The grounding terminal is attached to the attachment member together with an attachment portion of the attached member by fastening with a conductive fastening member in a state that the grounding terminal is overlaid on the attachment portion of the attached member, so that the electrical component is grounded to the attachment member through the grounding terminal and the fastening member.

  • Patent number: 7932474
Abstract: An illuminated switch comprising a four-way knob and a push knob, wherein the push knob has two legs which slide along a guide surface on an internal pusher member. Tilt activation of the four-way knob results in the push knob also being tilted. When the user has pushed the push knob while the push knob and the four-way knob are in a tilted position, the push knob in conjunction with the four-way knob linearly move backward in the pushed direction, whereby an internal switch and an external switch are operated. The push knob is illuminated by an internal LED by way of a through hole in the internal pusher member.

  • Patent number: 5670762
Abstract: A push lock switch includes a switch body having walls and a plurality of the terminals each of which has a fixed contact. The switch body has a cam groove formed on one of the walls. A part of wall defining the cam groove serves as a hooking recess. The switch body has a lock pin and a slider movable between a projecting position and a retracted position. An end of the lock pin is inserted in the cam groove. The slider is held at the retracted position by engaging the end of the lock pin to the hooking recess. The switch body also has a leaf spring mounted on the slider. The leaf spring has a pressing portion to press the end of the lock pin against the bottom of the cam groove, and movable contacts for contacting to and being separated from the associated fixed contacts of the terminals in accordance with the movement of the slider. The fixed contacts are electrically connected to one another via the movable contacts touching the fixed contacts.
