Abstract: A toll free service system allowing toll free calls to provide convenience to both companies and general users is disclosed. A source terminal makes a toll free call on a called party pays line on a circuit switched network. A plurality of servers is connected to the Internet. A signal converter connected to the called party pays line performs a signal conversion between a signal on the circuit switched network and an IP packet signal. A connection controller is connects the signal converter to the Internet and transmits a server selection menu to the source terminal. When a server is selected at the source terminal, the source terminal is connected to the selected server.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus having a static latent image forming unit for forming a static latent image corresponding to an original image on an image carrying member, a first developing unit for developing the static latent image, formed by the static latent image forming unit, by a first magnetic developing agent containing a magnetizable magnetic material, so as to form a first developing agent image, a fixing unit for fixing the first developing agent image, formed by the first developing unit, on the image carrying member, a magnetizing unit for magnetizing the first developing agent image fixed by the fixing unit, so as to form a magnetic latent image, a second developing unit for developing the magnetic latent image by a second magnetic developing agent whose magnetic material content is lower than that of the first magnetic developing agent, so as to form forming a second developing agent image, and a transferring unit for transferring the second developing agent image to a recording medium.

Abstract: In a developing system, a first latent image is formed on a photoconductive drum which is rotated in a direction and is developed by a black toner fed from a first developer. A second latent image is also formed on a rotated photoconductive drum and is also developed by a chromatic toner fed from a second developer. The first and second developers are arranged around the rotated photoconductive drum and are rotated in a direction opposite to the rotated direction of the photoconductive drum. The first developer is rotated at a predetermined peripheral velocity higher than that of the drum and the second developer is rotated at a predetermined peripheral velocity equal to that of the drum.

Abstract: Single-colored image printing and multi-colored image printing are carried out by an image forming apparatus in response to color signals. The image forming apparatus includes an image carrier, a first image forming unit having a first developer wherein a first color developing agent is stored, and a second image forming unit having a second developer wherein a second color developing agent is stored.A single color image is formed on the image carrier when only a first color signal is received by the apparatus in the single-colored image printing. When a single-colored image printing is carried out by the first developer, a prescribed bias voltage is applied to the second developer to prevent the second color developing agent from the contamination by the first color developing agent of the single color image formed on the image carrier.
