Abstract: An authentication apparatus that makes it difficult to perform posing when accessing information is provided. When there is an access request from a mobile phone, an authentication server transmits a program to the mobile phone (S3202). The program is for reading data regarding an individual number (for example, serial number) recorded in a scratch pad of the mobile phone, and transmitting the data to the authentication server. The authentication server that receives the data regarding the serial number transmitted by activation of the program (S3202) compares the serial number with data regarding the identification number of each mobile phone, the data being maintained in the authentication server (S3203). When the serial number matches any of serial numbers maintained therein (S3203: Yes), the authentication server authenticates the access to be valid.

A management analysis database is a multi-dimensional database in which data sets including a combination of a plurality of evaluation values are classified in accordance with a variety of reference and stored. A management analysis server extracts a data set from the management analysis database in accordance with the extract conditions specified by the operator of a client computer. Then, the server calculates coordinates for each of the data sets extracted, in accordance with the combination of the evaluation values, to display an object at a point indicated by the coordinates on a portfolio map.

Abstract: A secured network system capable of easily constructing a groupware environment is offered. Host servers are placed within an intranet protected by a firewall. The host servers are connected with local servers located outside the intranet via a private network. At least some of files possessed by the host servers and the local servers are taken as common files whose contents are maintained in common with each other. Access to the common files in the host servers is allowed. The contents of the common files in the local servers can be gained from a cellular phone.
