  • Patent number: 5988610
Abstract: A liquid sealed suspension unit includes a first member and a second member which are independent of each other and which are coupled together. A cylindrical rubber mount (43) is fastened to the first member, and the second member is mounted so as to be slidable in an axial direction thereof relative to the cylindrical rubber mount (43). The cylindrical rubber mount (43) has a plurality of rubber layers (46a, 46b, 46c) laminated via a plurality of cylindrical members (45a, 45b, 45c) such that they are different with respect to at least either of (i) thickness in their radial direction and (ii) height in their axial direction. A spring member (57), in the form of at least one spring coil, is interposed between a damper plate member (50) and an inner surface of a vessel (40) at the bottom of the vessel. This construction provides an increased displacement amplitude in the axial direction, and an excellent vibration absorptivity for both a roll and a pitch can be achieved.

  • Patent number: 5087543
Abstract: An electrophotogrpahic printer having a photoconductor with an As.sub.2-x Se.sub.3+x (0<x<0.5) overcoat layer and a carrier generation layer comprising a Se-Te alloy containing about 42% by weight of tellurium is provided in which the charge-removing light has a wavelength shorter then 680 nm, and the time interval between the removal of charge and the re-electrification is in excess of 400 msec, thus minimizing the potential drop at the surface of the photoconductor.

  • Patent number: 4814376
Abstract: A process for preparing organopolysiloxane emulsion comprised of dispersed particles having an average particle size of 0.5.mu. or less, comprising emulsifying a liquid organopolysiloxane with use of an emulsifying agent by means of a composite emulsifying apparatus equipped with(A) a stirring means having a stirring blade capable of stirring contents of a container at a low speed over the whole of the container, and at least one stirring means selected from(B) a disc type stirring means capable of rotating at a high speed and having tooth-like projections on its peripheral edge, and(C) a stirring means having a stator and a turbine blade disposed in the inside of the stator and capable of rotating at a high speed. According to this process, an organopolysiloxane having a high viscosity up to 500,000 cP can be emulsified to prepare an emulsion of high stability.
