    Abstract: A display panel with a less costly backup arrangement for failed light-emitting elements and a driving method thereof are disclosed. The display panel includes a plurality of pixels. Each pixel includes a plurality of main sub-pixels and a backup sub-pixel. For any one of the pixels, if there is a failed main sub-pixel, the backup sub-pixel is activated and configured for cooperating with non-failed main sub-pixels to output metamerized light of a desired target color in order that no change in color or brightness is perceived by a viewer.

The first color light and the second color light after diffraction are mixed together in a second image light for generating holographic images. By emitting the first color light and the second color light in the first image light at the same grayscale value, a ratio of intensities of the first color light and the second color light becomes inversely proportional to a ratio of the first diffraction efficiency and the second diffraction efficiency.

    Abstract: A method to fuse images to create temperature-based images with higher resolution and frame rate than those of a microbolometer controls a first camera device to capture a first video and controls an infrared camera device to capture a second video. Information as to objects in each frame of image in the first video is recognized, and the edge of an object in the image information is extracted. A thermal image corresponding to the first video is obtained from the second video, the thermal image being processed by an MEMC algorithm for motion estimation and compensation (prediction), to obtain an image free of misalignments and time displacements. A final fused image is obtained by fusing the defined-edges image, the thermal image, and the prediction image. An electronic device employing the method is also disclosed.

The image sensor is fixed on the circuit board via a first adhesive layer with high viscosity. The first installation bracket is fixed on the image sensor via a second adhesive layer with less (lower) viscosity. The second installation bracket is sleeved on an outside of the first installation bracket and is fixed on the circuit board via a third adhesive layer with a low (the lowest) viscosity. In assembly, relative positionings of the image sensor, the first installation bracket, and the second installation bracket in that order can be performed and adjusted without disturbing earlier positionings, thus any misalignment of the image sensor can be avoided or reduced, and the quality of the packaging structure is improved.
