Patent number: 11845086Abstract: A machine includes a motor; and a transmission to drive a knife plate. The knife plate includes a plurality of knife blades. The machine further includes a die plate. The knife plate and the die plate interface at a cutting edge of the knife plate. The machine cuts feed material from larger sized pieces to smaller pieces by forcing the material through the die plate and cutting it with the knife plate.Type: GrantFiled: December 1, 2020Date of Patent: December 19, 2023Assignee: Eco Green Equipment, LLCInventors: Ted Bushman Rogers, Michael Bradley Swenson, Riley Bateman, Jarom Groat

Patent number: 11794194Abstract: A shredder blade assembly is disclosed having a rotor configured to be mounted on a rotating shaft, the rotor having opposing faces with a plurality of angled knife receptacles and a plurality of knife inserts mounted within the plurality of knife receptacles. Each knife insert has two opposing faces and each opposing face comprises three cutting edges such that each knife insert has six cutting edges. Only one of the cutting edges is exposed at an outer peripheral edge of the shredder blade assembly during use. The knife inserts are configured to be removed, rotated (and flipped as needed), and re-mounted within the plurality of knife receptacles to expose another of the cutting edges at the outer peripheral edge of the shredder blade assembly. The knife insert may be triangular and mounted to expose one vertex to create a plurality of tooth/hook projections.Type: GrantFiled: December 14, 2020Date of Patent: October 24, 2023Assignee: Eco Green Equipment, LLCInventors: Ted Bushman Rogers, Michael Bradley Swenson

Publication number: 20220241910Abstract: A shredder blade assembly includes a rotor having a plurality of pockets. The shredder blade assembly further includes a plurality of knife blades which are each disposed in one of the plurality of pockets. The knife blades are secured into the pockets by a compression force applied from a periphery of the rotor and in a direction towards a shaft aperture in the rotor.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 1, 2021Publication date: August 4, 2022Applicant: 2SPR, LLCInventor: Ted Bushman Rogers

Patent number: 11077573Abstract: An apparatus for cutting a whole tire into strips may include a cutting device having a first rotary blade and a second rotary blade. The tire is positioned between the first rotary blade and the second rotary blade, which cut the tire into one or more strips. The apparatus may further include a positioning system operable to orient the tire between a plurality of vertical, horizontal, and intermediate positions, relative to the cutting device. The apparatus may include one or more support rollers. The apparatus may further include a control system that controls the operation of the cutting device and tire positioning system as the tire is cut into strips by the cutting device. The apparatus may include a chipper to cut the tire strips into chips. The apparatus may include a bead peeler to remove the exterior rubber sheath from the wire bead.Type: GrantFiled: November 12, 2019Date of Patent: August 3, 2021Assignee: Eco Green Equipment, LLCInventors: Ted Bushman Rogers, Michael Bradley Swenson

Publication number: 20170348696Abstract: A secondary shredder can include a rotor assembly that employs a modular rotor design. Each rotor of the rotor assembly can include a number of blades that are symmetrical around a horizontal and a vertical axis. Each rotor can include a number of radial extensions forming gaps into which the blades insert. The blades can be secured within the gaps by wedges that apply an inward force against the blades when the wedges are secured into the gaps. The radial extensions and blades can include keyways into which keys insert to prevent the blades from escaping the gaps. The secondary shredder may also include a stationary knife assembly that includes multiple stationary knives that are positioned on the same side of the rotor assembly.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 7, 2016Publication date: December 7, 2017Inventors: Ted Bushman Rogers, Jarom Wayne Groat
