  • Publication number: 20170051665
Abstract: The present invention relates to a hydrogen-powered genset that can be operated without any gaseous exhaust and does not require any external air or water. In particular, the closed loop utilizes a system that is fueled with hydrogen and supplied with oxygen from an electrolyzer. The system re-circulates the exhaust gas to the air intake while extracting the water from it for use in the electrolyzer.

  • Patent number: 8025033
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of operating an internal combustion engine simultaneously with ammonia and another fuel. The other fuel may be hydrogen, ethanol, propane, natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, or the like. In a preferred embodiment, the other fuel is hydrogen and the engine has zero carbon emissions. A control system is programmable to adjust the proportion of ammonia and the other, catalyst fuel as selected by the operator.

  • Patent number: 7687960
Abstract: A modified armature winding for a stator of an electrical generator having a pigtail shape to promote cooling of the stator. At least one turn of the windings is extended outside the circumferential periphery of the stator, preferably forming a loop. An electrical short is created near the circumferential periphery of the stator between the winding segments to prevent current from flowing through the pigtail winding segment.

  • Publication number: 20090282676
Abstract: An engine block with a plurality of relatively large piston bores is provided. The engine block is adapted for use of relatively large bore pistons, and preferably duel connecting rod pistons. Configured in this manner the engine block has a relatively large displacement and is especially suited for use with low btu fuels, and more particularly hydrogen.

  • Publication number: 20080295795
Abstract: The engine block for an internal combustion engine is fabricated from laminated pieces of material instead of cast iron or cast aluminum. This provides extreme flexibility of the design of individual engines. Each lamination piece can be designed to complex three dimensional structures and/or passages. The lamination material itself can be changed to improve strength, thermal conductivity, reduce cost, or any other parameter of interest to those skilled in the art.

  • Publication number: 20080264375
Abstract: A piston and connecting rod is provided. The piston comprises a piston and a plurality of connecting rods. A very large displacement engine is built using one piston with the plurality of connecting rods, wherein the one piston has the combined diameter of two pistons in a smaller bore engine. The connecting rods are spaced to operatively connect with a standard crankshaft style, where each connecting rod of the two smaller, standard pistons would connect to the crankshaft.
