    Abstract: An apparatus for recovering waste heat from conventional refrigerating systems in which a heat exchanger is connected between the compressor and condenser to transfer heat to water pumped therethrough. The heated water is stored in a small holding tank and transferred to a larger water storage tank when hot water is withdrawn from the larger tank.
