  • Publication number: 20240119746
Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for synthetic 3D digital microscopy image sets. A microscope captures a depth stack of a sample using a first labelling technique. A trained machine learning model generates a synthetic depth stack of images based on the imaged depth stack. The synthetic depth stack mimics the appearance of a second labelling technique, which is targeted to a tissue structure of interest. A segmentation mask is generated based on the synthetic depth stack. The machine learning model may be trained on depth stacks of samples prepared with both the first and the second labelling techniques.

  • Patent number: 11361437
Abstract: Embodiments discussed herein facilitate determining a diagnosis and/or prognosis for prostate cancer based at least in part on three-dimensional (3D) pathomic feature(s). One example embodiment comprises a computer-readable medium storing computer-executable instructions that, when executed, cause a processor to perform operations, comprising: accessing a three-dimensional (3D) optical image volume comprising a prostate gland of a patient; segmenting the prostate gland of the 3D optical image volume; extracting one or more features from the segmented prostate gland, wherein the one or more features comprise at least one 3D pathomic feature; and generating, via a model based at least on the one or more features, one or more of the following based at least on the extracted one or more features: a classification of the prostate gland as one of benign or malignant, a Gleason score associated with the prostate gland, or a prognosis for the patient.

  • Publication number: 20210085853
Abstract: Systems and methods for automated assessment and monitoring of bodily fluids are disclosed. In one embodiment, a system for provisioning a treatment composition to a bladder of a patient includes: an irrigation bag that carries the treatment composition; a catheter configured for connecting the irrigation bag to the bladder; a flow regulator configured for controlling a flow of the treatment composition from the irrigation bag to the bladder; and a drainage bag in fluid communication with the bladder through a drainage tubing of the catheter. The drainage tubing is configured for draining urine from the bladder. The system also includes: a first sensor for detecting a first amount of the treatment composition in the irrigation bag; a second sensor for detecting a second amount of urine in the drainage bag; a third sensor for detecting a concentration of particles in the urine carried by the drainage bag; and a controller.

  • Publication number: 20180141186
Abstract: A rotary disc structure of a polishing machine includes a disc, a flat section formed on the disc, at least one slope section formed on the disc and located at an outer side of the flat section, at least one coupling section provided on the flat section or the slope section, and a coupling member provided on a side of the disc that is distant from the coupling section. As such, the coupling section can be coupled to a cleansing member, such as sponge. The disc can be coupled, by means of the coupling member, to an electric motor. A user may operate the electric motor to rotate the cleansing member for polishing or waxing an automobile body. The disc is provided with a unique design in which an outer side of the flat section is folded to form the slope section to conduct polishing or waxing of the automobile.

  • Publication number: 20080098082
Abstract: A computer system is disclosed. The system comprises a connection interface, a download device and at least one first computer device. The first computer device generates a script file. The download device, coupled to the first computer device via the connection interface, comprises a processing unit, a network interface and a storage unit. When the download device and the first computer device are disconnected, the processing unit is capable of finding and performing at least one corresponding download instruction according to the content of the script file. Downloaded data is then stored in the storage unit.

  • Publication number: 20060202045
Abstract: This invention relates to a low-noise cooling method and device for a computer host. In the preferred embodiment, an electric gate and a fan are provided for the computer host. In addition, the invention includes a control circuit for controlling open/close states of the electric gate and rotation speeds of the fan according to an interior temperature of the computer host. When the interior temperature of the computer host decreases, the noise generated by the fan decreases due to a slightly open state of the electric gate and a reduced rotation speed of the fan. Therefore, the power consumption of the computer host and the noise of the fan are decreased.
