  • Patent number: 8337436
Abstract: The present invention discloses an apparatus of cardiopulmonary resuscitator that is operated through a driving mechanism controlled and driven by air power. The driving mechanism functions to actuate a belt adapted to extend around the chest of a patient to generate reciprocating movement of pressing and releasing so as to achieve a purpose of cardiopulmonary resuscitation for recovering heartbeat and breathing of the patent. By means of the disclosure of the present invention, the apparatus of cardiopulmonary resuscitator is capable of being operated in any kinds of occasions without worrying about lack of power electricity. Meanwhile, the driving mechanism can provide higher reliability and lower cost through the mechanism design that is more simplified than the design of electrical control element used in the conventional apparatus.

  • Patent number: 8224598
Abstract: The method for forming the optimal characteristic curve of a solar cell comprises the steps of: providing a first acceptable error; and determining a current-voltage polynomial regression equation, whose square root of the residual sum of square is less than the first acceptable error for a set of solar cell measured data. The order of the current-voltage polynomial regression equation is gradually increased until the square root of the residual sum of square of the current-voltage polynomial regression equation is less than the first acceptable error.

  • Publication number: 20110291995
Abstract: A sterilizing device comprises a light guiding member and an ultraviolet (UV) light source. The light guiding member has a surface. The UV light source emits UV light rays such that the UV light rays are guided into the guiding member based on a total internal reflection. When an object contacts or comes close to the surface, an evanescent wave from the UV light rays irradiates on the object.

  • Patent number: 7957459
Abstract: A symbol rate testing method based on signal waveform analysis is provided. A signal with a plurality of quasi bits 1 and a plurality of quasi bits 0 is received and sampled within an acquiring time. Maximum values of the quasi bits 1 are obtained by calculating sampling values of the signal at various sampling points. A minimum value among the maximum values is determined as a critical value. Whether a quasi bit 1 is a bit 1 or not is determined according to the critical value, and a total number of the bits 1 within the acquiring time is counted. Similarly, a number of the bits 0 within the acquiring time are also obtained. Thus, the symbol rate is obtained according to the above information.
