  • Patent number: 7278846
Abstract: A tool set for bending a semi-finished decoration with a straight wire into a finished decoration with a bent wire and attaching the decoration to an printed ink layer on a base of an illustrated card has a die mold and a hand-held tool. The die mold has a top edge, two notches defined in the top edge and a through hole defined vertically through the die mold. The hand-held tool has two ends, a bending die with an alignment notch in one end and a clamp with a clamping notch on the other end. The tool set quickly bends the semi-finished decoration and attaches the finished decoration tightly to the printed ink layer on the base.

  • Publication number: 20060248756
Abstract: A vivid three-dimensional (3D) illustrated card has a base, a printed ink layer and multiple 3D decorations. The printed ink layer is applied to the base and has at least one colored pattern and character. The 3D decorations are attached to the front surface of the printed ink layer on the base and correspond respectively to parts of the at least one pattern and character. Each 3D decoration has a U-shaped wire and a decorative element. The decorative element is mounted on the U-shaped wire and is colored to match the color of the corresponding part of at least one pattern and character on the printed ink layer. The illustrated card with the 3D decorations looks vivid and attractive. Furthermore, the 3D decorations are attached tightly to the printed ink layer on the base by using the tool set so the 3D illustrated card is more durable.

  • Patent number: 6962742
Abstract: A pattern card has a base material being composed of a paper sheet and a color texture layer printed on the paper sheet. A wax layer is formed on the base material. A protection printing ink is coated on the wax layer. A picture printing ink is partially coated on the protection printing ink according to a designed picture's profile and contour. The protection printing ink and the picture can be mixed with wax in the proportion of 10%. Whereby, it is easy to remove the protection and picture printing ink by a drawknife, and a pattern or picture with a three-dimensional effect appears.

  • Patent number: 6916518
Abstract: A transfer sticker with metal powder made by the steps of coating a substrate with a first isolating layer; coating the first isolating layer with a resin layer; coating the resin layer with a metal powder layer by an electroplating process; printing a first protecting resin layer pattern on the metal powder layer; etching the metal powder layer for shape and to cause the patterns to protrude; washing away the etching reagents; printing a second protecting resin layer on the first protecting resin layer to protect the patterns in shape; printing an adhesive layer on the second protecting resin layer; and then attaching a second isolating layer to the adhesive layer. The transfer sticker made in accordance with this method has exquisite patterns that can be transferred completely without other residual parts of the sticker.

  • Patent number: 6485801
Abstract: A three-dimensional hanging ornament transformed from a flexible sheet printed with various patterns, which includes a body portion and at least one ornamental portion. At least one multiple connecting strip is connected with the body portion at a lower end thereof and connected with the ornamental portion at an upper end thereof. A perforated line is defined around outer edges of the body portion, the ornamental portion and the connecting strip, whereby the ornamental portion and the connecting strip, or the ornamental portion, the connecting strip and the body portion can be separated either partly or wholly from the sheet. When the hanging ornament is hung in various statuses, the ornamental portion is suspended and streamed in the air, in such a way the sheet with patterns is transformed into a three-dimensional hanging ornament.
