    Abstract: A hospital information system of a healthcare facility includes a patient safety protocol module of a safety protocol management system that is configured to manage a patient safety protocol for each of a plurality of patients being treated at the healthcare facility. Each of the patient safety protocols, based on health information of a patient and information of one or more care assets available to be assigned to the patient, address a health risk of the patients being treated at the healthcare facility. The patient safety protocol module is further configured to analyze information of patients, including care assets assigned to the patients and outcomes of the patients. The patient safety protocol module is further configured to adjust the patient safety protocol based on the analysis.
