Abstract: A barrier lined cover device, for example, a sock for treating cracked skin of the foot of the wearer of the sock. The sock has an exterior surface, and an interior surface and a moisture impervious flexible liner configured like a ballet slipper, sewn into the interior surface for normal placement over a wearer's skin to retain heat and moisture on the wearer's skin adjacent ones needing treatment. The slipper covers only areas in need of treatment, with the balance of the foot in contact with the interior portion of the sock. Moisture and heat from the foot enhance the medicament effectiveness of medicines used to treat cracked skin.
