    Abstract: A dovetail joint jig for guiding a power tool for creating a dovetail slot in a first workpiece and a dovetail pin in a second workpiece includes a substantially flat main body portion having a slot portion on one side and a pin portion on an opposite side. The slot portion includes a pair of oppositely-disposed side projections which define a clearance space therebetween. A tapered router bit is guided along the inner edge of the side projections in order to create a dovetail slot in the first workpiece. The pin portion includes a slot-shaped portion whose planar shape coincides with the shape of the slot to be created in the first workpiece and accordingly in the preferred embodiment coincides with the shape of the tapered router bit. A generally cylindrical router bit is guided around the edge of the pin portion in order to remove material from the second workpiece and leave a dovetail pin which matches the dovetail slot in the first workpiece.

    Abstract: A water column game that includes a plurality of vertically oriented water columns, each having a housing disposed at the upper end thereof coaxial with and in open communication with the column. A float is freely disposed and captured within each housing. A target and valves are responsive to a game player for directing water into a lower end of each water column, such that water rises within the column and the housing in sequence so as to raise the float buoyantly within the housing. A switch is disposed at the upper end of each housing, and is responsive to contact by the float for indicating that the float has reached the upper end of the column. After each play, all water columns and housings are drained to a common sump. The water-fill volume of each column and housing is adjustable and all columns are fed from a common pump for equalizing the opportunity of each player to win.

    Abstract: A ball game includes a target area, at least one gun responsive to an operator for firing balls into the target area, and a device for feeding balls in sequence to the gun. This device includes an opening disposed beneath the target area for receiving balls that fall by gravity from the target area, and a turret positioned beneath the opening and having a circumferential array of peripheral openings each sized to receive one of the balls. The turret is rotated about its axis such that balls that fall by gravity onto the turret are urged by centrifugal force toward the peripheral openings. An accelerator has a ball inlet disposed beneath the turret at a position for alignment with each of the peripheral openings in sequence as the turret rotates, and an air inlet connected to a source of air under pressure.
