    Abstract: A standing privacy fence which is collapsible and includes a deployable bench is disclosed. A rectangular sheet is formed with parallel upper and lower edges and generally vertical end edges. The sheet comprises a plurality of vertically extending planks and includes strengthening planks. A pair of long supplemental planks having upper edges with pivot pins pivotally secure the upper end of the supplemental planks to the strengthening planks of the sheet adjacent to the upper edge thereof. The supplemental planks are spaced a distance essentially equal to the width of the vertical strengthening planks of the sheet. Additional planks have an intermediate extent with pivot pins coupled to intermediate extents of the supplemental planks.
