    Abstract: A photograph processing apparatus includes: (i) an exposing portion for recording a picture onto a photosensitive material piece cut to a print size; (ii) a developing portion for developing the photosensitive material piece; (iii) a magazine for containing in roll a lengthy photosensitive material composed of pieces connected to each other via a splicing portion in the vicinity of which a detecting slot for detecting the splicing portion is formed; (iv) cutting means for cutting the photosensitive material as being drawn from the magazine, to a predetermined print size including the splicing portion and the detecting slot; (v) a conveying roller having a width smaller than, equal to, or larger than the width of the detecting slot; and (vi) width-direction shifting means for shifting the photosensitive material piece with the splicing portion to a position such that the conveying roller may not be countered with the detecting slot.

    Abstract: A paper magazine made up of a small number of parts and capable of rewinding paper pulled out of the case around the roll of paper in the magazine by turning the paper roll. The paper roll is supported on a roll support shaft provided in the magazine case. The roll support shaft includes a core support rod, a pair of cylindrical end members mounted on both ends of the core support rod, and a core mounted on the core support rod between the end members. The paper roll is mounted on the core. When the paper is pulled out of the paper roll, the core is rotated in one direction, so that one of two torsion coil springs tightens to bias the core in the paper rewinding direction. Thus, as soon as the paper is pulled back into the case, the core is turned in the rewinding direction by the one of the coil springs, so that the paper can be smoothly wound around the core.

    Abstract: A photographic processing apparatus includes a main drive roller mechanism for transporting a photosensitive material in forward and reverse transport directions along a transport passage. The apparatus also includes forward and reverse drive roller mechanisms for assisting the main drive roller mechanism. The forward and reverse drive roller mechanisms are disposed upstream of the main drive roller mechanism relative to the forward transport direction. At least the forward and reverse drive roller mechanisms are supplied with power by a common drive source. The forward drive roller mechanism includes a first one-way clutch mechanism for restricting the rotational force supplied from the drive source when the photosensitive material is transported reversely. The reverse drive roller mechanism includes a second one-way clutch mechanism for restricting the rotational force supplied from the drive source when the photosensitive material is transported forwardly.
