  • Patent number: 5770347
Abstract: A photocurable and thermosetting coating composition which can be diluted with water is disclosed. This composition comprises a photopolymerizable resin having a number-average molecular weight in the range of from 500 to 50,000 and containing an aprotic ammonium salt-containing moiety in a proportion of from 0.2 to 4.0 mols per kilogram of the resin, a photopolymerization initiator, a thermosetting component, and a diluent. The photopolymerizable resin is obtained by the reaction of a polymer possessing a tertiary amino group with a monocarboxylic acid and a monoepoxy compound either or both thereof possessing a polymerizable unsaturated double bond. As the thermosetting component, at least one member selected from the group consisting of amino resins, cyclocarbonate compounds, blocked isocyanate compounds, and epoxy resins is used. A tack-free coating film is obtained by applying this composition to a printed circuit board and drying the applied layer of the composition.

  • Patent number: 4482419
Abstract: In a dry etching apparatus comprising a plurality of etching chambers each of which comprises a first and a second electrode member opposite to each other, an object is successively etched in each etching chamber, with the object supported on either the first or the second electrode member, under different distributions of etching rate. When the object is placed on the first electrode member in each etching chamber and a gas is introduced through an aperture formed on the second electrode member, each distribution of etching rate can be varied by changing a position of the aperture. A side wall member may be extended from a periphery of the second electrode member towards the first electrode member in each etching chamber to confine plasma within a space defined by the first and the second electrode members and the side wall member. The side wall member is varied in length and/or diameter from an etching chamber to another to realize the different distributions of etching rate.

  • Patent number: 4437111
Abstract: A color television camera comprises a color pickup device such as color pickup tube, an automatically detachable infrared cut filter disposed in the light path to an image receiving face of the pickup device, a brightness detection means which changes its output signal when brightness becomes under a certain predetermined level, a driving means for driving the automatically detachable infrared-cut filter to be removed from the light path to the image receiving face, and a video signal circuit including a switching circuit to operate in such a manner to switch the circuit to constitute a color video signal producing circuit when the brightness is over the predetermined level and accordingly the infrared-cut filter is inserted in front of the image receiving face, and on the other hand to switch the circuit to constitute a monochrome video signal producing circuit when the brightness is below the predetermined level and accordingly the infrared-cut filter is removed from the front of the image receiving face.
