  • Patent number: 11595515
Abstract: A computer-implemented method and system for improving caller verification is provided. The method comprises registering an intended communications session by generating a key using, at least, a first call time window identifier, and storing the key in a database; in response to registering the intended communication session, receiving a request for caller verification, wherein the request comprises data representing a second call time window identifier; in response to receiving the request for caller verification, generating a comparison key based on the request; comparing the comparison key with the key stored in the database; and verifying the intended communication session in response to comparing the comparison key with the key.

  • Patent number: 9936434
Abstract: A method for providing communication in a communication device is disclosed. The method may include receiving a control instruction for a call session via the communication device, and assessing a quality of service of at least one of a default Wi-Fi network and a radio network. The method may also include selectively recommending to a user of the communication device the radio network for the call session based on the quality of service, and initiating the call session using the default Wi-Fi network or the radio network based on a selection made by the user.

  • Patent number: 9423932
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for a zoom view mode for use with digital content including multiple regions of interest. Regions of interest may include portions of viewable digital content (e.g., panels of a comic book). In some cases, the mode may be invoked using a zoom command (e.g., double tap) to zoom in on a region of interest. After the mode has been invoked, the user may shift from one region of interest to another using a shift command (e.g., swipe), along a shift path of motion. The shift path of motion may have a non-constant speed and/or non-linear shape (e.g., arc-shaped). In some cases, the shift path of motion speed may be defined by a non-linear easing function curve. In some cases, the mode may be configured to present an entire page when first shifting to a region of interest on that page, to provide overall context to the user.
