    Abstract: An electrophotographic photoreceptor is formed by a photosensitive layer containing a naphtylhydrazone compound of the formula: ##STR1## wherein X and Y are independently a hydrogen atom, lower alkyl group, lower alkoxy group, phenoxy group or arylalkoxy group; R.sup.1 is a naphtyl group; R.sup.2 is a hydrogen atom, lower alkyl group, allyl group, substituted or unsubstituted phenyl group, or aralkyl group; and l and m are 1 or 2. The photoreceptor thus formed is not only highly sensitive but resistant to ozone deterioration, which markedly improves the durability thereof.

    Abstract: A photosensitive member for electrophotography having a photosensitive layer containing a hydrazone compound represented by the following general formula [I]: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group or a halogen atom; R.sup.3 represents a halogen atom; m is 1 or 2; and n is 0, 1 or 2. The photosensitive member has not only extremely high sensitivity but also sufficiently low residual potential. It is also highly resistant to fatigue so that the repeated use provides it with little accumulation of residual potential and little variation of surface potential and sensitivity.

    Abstract: New electrically conductive material suitable particularly for a secondary battery and a process for preparing the electrically conductive material are provided. The process for the preparation of the electrically conductive material comprises the steps of reacting a compound having conjugated double bonds with an oxidizing agent wherein the oxidizing agent comprises a cupric compound and a nitrile compound. The electrically conductive material comprises grainy polypyrrole obtained by reacting a pyrrole compound with an oxidizing agent which is constituted by primary particles having an average particle size of 0.01 to 0.4 .mu.m and has a press molding density of 1 to 1.6 g/cm.sup.3.

This photosensitive layer has high sensitivity and durability and low residual potential.

    Abstract: A process for producing stabilized polyolefins comprising adding an epoxide to a polyolefin slurry obtained through polymerization of .alpha.-olefins in the presence of a catalyst containing a halide of a transition metal and an organoaluminum compound to render the catalyst remaining in the polymer inactive, and then subjecting the polyolefin slurry after the above inactivation treatment to an evaporation treatment. The process is extremely simple and results in polyolefins and molded products which are highly stable against discoloration and heat.
