    Abstract: A substrate on which light emitting diodes (LEDs) of a back light unit is mounted is fixed to a heat sink without using a screw. A groove having an inverse tapered inner side wall is provided in a heat sink, and a substrate on which LEDs are mounted is stored in the groove. When the LEDs are turned on, the substrate expands due to thermal expansion to contact with the side wall of the groove, and can be fixed to the groove without using screws.
