  • Patent number: 5140464
Abstract: An interference film filter for use in a copying machine as mounted on an optical path of light traveling through an image-forming lens for preventing transmission of the light in a predetermined wavelength range. The filter comprises a transparent glass substrate, and interference films each consisting of a plurality of layers formed by vapor deposition on the substrate. The interference films include a film disposed centrally of the substrate, and an opposed pair or pairs side films. Each of the side films has a greater optical film thickness than the center film or a film disposed immediately inwardly.

  • Patent number: 5049466
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a photosensitive member comprising an electrically conductive substrate, a photoconductive layer of a ceramic material, an intermediate layer of an organic high polymer formed on the photoconductive layer and having a thickness of about 0.01 to about 1 micron and an overcoat layer of a ceramic material formed on the intermediate layer. The intermediate layer has a volume resistivity smaller than that of the overcoat layer.

  • Patent number: 4929980
Abstract: A document support member for use in a copier and the like upon which an original document is placed.A transparent substrate has a transparent surface-layer formed on the surface thereof which is provided with numerous minute spaces thereon. The said minute spaces are filled with a lubricant so as to reduce friction drag between the original document and the document support member.

  • Patent number: 4928145
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a developing apparatus having a developing sleeve for making a latent image visible and a bucket roller for supplying developer to the developing sleeve including a plurality of buckets provided on the circumferential surface of the bucket roller at a predetermined spacing and base portions for supporting the buckets respectively. Each of the buckets are loosely provided at the base portions respectively so as to pivot with respect to the base portions. This construction effectively prevents the aggregation and accumulation of developer at the bucket portion, as well as gives sufficient flowability to the developer.

  • Patent number: 4880292
Abstract: A light-transmission viewing screen for displaying an optical image from a beam of light projected thereon along a predetermined path of light provided rearwardly of the screen, the viewing screen having a virtual center axis extending toward a viewer's viewing position, the light-transmission viewing screen comprising a transparent or translucent transmission screen plate through which to transmit the beam of light, and a transmission grating located on at least a portion of one of the surfaces of the transmission screen plate for diffracting the beam of light toward a location substantially aligned with the virtual center axis of the viewing screen when the beam of light is transmitted through the transmission grating.

  • Patent number: 4659178
Abstract: An optical filter comprising a colored glass plate having band-pass filter characteristics and an interference multilayer film formed over the glass plate. The colored glass plate defines a transmission band of relatively narrow width in the visible range. The interference multilayer film comprises at least two unit layers and a low refractive index material layer interposed therebetween and having an optical thickness of .lambda..sub.o /4. The unit layer is composed of two high refractive index material layers having an optical thickness of .lambda..sub.o /4 and a low refractive index material layer interposed therebetween and having an optical thickness of .lambda..sub.o /2. The interference multilayer film is designed to define a reflection band for removing a predetermined range of wavelengths from the transmission band of the color glass plate.
