  • Publication number: 20150141298
Abstract: A probe-immobilized carrier for detecting a target substance is manufactured such that a spot is prevented from being contaminated with another spot and a probe is prevented from nonspecifically adsorbing a background area in the manufacture of the probe-immobilized carrier and nonspecific adsorption cannot be occurred even after the formation of an array. A substrate containing a reactive group for immobilizing a probe thereon is used and the steps of: (i) supplying a liquid droplet containing a probe on the substrate; (ii) inactivating a reactive group existing in an area other than a supplying area of the substrate, and (iii) removing an unreacted probe existing in the supplied liquid droplet are carried out.

  • Publication number: 20090011413
Abstract: Colon cancer cells in a sample are screened by analyzing the amount of expression of at least 2 or more genes or products thereof selected from the group of genes listed in Tables 1 and 30. As compared to conventional method, patients having colon cancer can be detected with higher accuracy. Colon cancer cells in stool are also screened by analyzing expression of genes selected from the group of genes listed in Table 37.

  • Patent number: 6565206
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide an ink-jet print method which can uniformly distribute inks within each pixel array when a color filter is to be colored in a plurality of scanning operations. In order to achieve this object, there is provided an ink-jet print method of coloring each pixel array on a substrate by using an ink-jet head having a plurality of ink discharging nozzles while changing the ink discharging nozzle used to color one line for every scanning operation, including discharging the inks discharged in the plurality of scanning operations such that the inks are arranged at equal intervals within each pixel array.

  • Patent number: 6329108
Abstract: A color-filter manufacturing method for manufacturing a color filter, with very little color unevenness, in a short period of time. According to the method, at least a single color of red, green and blue ink is discharged onto each pixel of a substrate by using an ink-jet head, and coloring is performed such that color density fluctuation among pixels colored in red is kept 5% or lower, color density fluctuation among pixels colored in green is kept 10% or lower, and color density fluctuation among pixels colored in blue is kept 3% or lower.

  • Patent number: 6227647
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide an ink-jet print apparatus which can easily cope with the manufacture of a plurality of types of color filters having different pixel pitches. In order to achieve this object, an ink-jet print apparatus for performing a print operation on a recording member by discharging an ink thereon while scanning an ink-jet head relative to the recording member is provided. This apparatus includes a motor for pivoting the ink-jet head relative to the scanning direction, a restoring unit for restoring the ink discharging state of the ink-jet head, and a control unit for controlling the pivot angle of the ink-jet head.
