  • Patent number: 11934087
Abstract: A projector includes a cooling fan, and a processor, and the processor executes, in a case in which the cooling fan is operating in a first revolution speed mode, a control of switching an operation mode of the cooling fan to a second revolution speed mode whose revolution speed is faster than that of the first revolution speed mode in a case in which an obtained temperature detection value reaches a first threshold, and executes, in a case in which the cooling fan is operating in the second revolution speed mode, a control of switching the operation mode of the cooling fan to a revolution speed mode whose revolution speed is slower than that of the second revolution speed mode in a case in which an obtained temperature detection value decreases below a second threshold which differs from the first threshold.

  • Patent number: 7254604
Abstract: A distributed information system includes a communicating section, a control section and a management section. The communication section is to be mounted in a first mobile unit such as a vehicle, to receive an agent program which is an autonomous program to collect information, from a second mobile unit. The control section to be mounted in the first mobile unit performs a control action in response to a request of the agent program sent from the second mobile unit. The management section to be mounted in the first mobile unit is configured to allow delivery of information on a result of the control action to the second mobile unit.

  • Patent number: 6044072
Abstract: In order to control access from mobile terminals in a code division multi-access communication system, a terminal communicating with one of base station measures data relating to quality of a downlink signal during a predetermined time interval to inform the base station of downlink signal quality. The base station also measures data relating to quality of an uplink signal during the predetermined time interval to produce uplink signal quality data. A base station control device determines from the downlink signal quality data and the uplink signal quality data, communication quality within the the service zone of the base station, and sends an access confinement signal to the base station when the communication quality is determined to be bad. Thus, the base station processes now incoming calls to and from other mobile radio terminals as busy.

  • Patent number: 5764631
Abstract: A mobile communication system and a method thereof which is capable of performing the base station change over operation with minimum communication interruption is provided. Communication between a base station and a mobile station is performed by using time slots of the Time Division Multiple Access transmission system. The mobile station monitors time slots of the control carrier for base stations around the mobile station during periods of time slots for other than the current speech channel. As for monitoring a control slot in the same timing as the speech channel, the monitoring is performed during VOX periods, in which no voice signal exists. Since the control carrier state can be monitored during communication with the original base station, interruption of communication to change over to a new base station can be minimized.

  • Patent number: 5606727
Abstract: Each of base stations 2 is positioned in a radio zone composed of three sectors and has a base station controller 3. The base station controller 3 measures upstream interference signal levels in all directions with receiving sector antennas 11, 13, 15 or omnidirectional antenna 17, determines candidate channels for assignment to the mobile stations 18, indicates the candidate channels to the mobile stations 18, instructs each of the mobile stations 18 to measure and report downstream interference signal levels to the base station controller 3, and then determines channels to be assigned. When determining candidate channels for assignment to the mobile stations 18, the base station controller 3 rearranges candidate channels into an order of an ascending order of upstream interference signal levels based on the measured upstream interference signal levels, and assigns candidate channels to groups of mobile stations 18.

  • Patent number: 5548807
Abstract: A mobile communication system comprises base stations each having sector antennas and an omnidirectional antenna for receiving up-going interference waves on all communication channels previously allocated thereto to detect power levels of those interference waves. The power levels of up-going interference waves on all communication channels are monitored at all times by using the omnidirectional antenna. When a calling signal from a mobile station is received by a certain sector antenna, respective up-going C/I ratios are calculated on the channels not yet used among communication channels previously allocated to that sector. Among channels where the calculated up-going C/I ratios satisfy a predetermined quality reference, a channel to be allocated to the mobile station is determined.
