  • Patent number: 11932912
Abstract: The present specification discloses a method for detecting an aneuploid of a Brassica oleracea plant, including: performing real-time PCR using DNA extracted from a sample derived from a Brassica oleracea plant to be tested as a template and DNA markers specific to each of two or more chromosomes of Brassica oleracea plant; and detecting chromosomal aneuploidy from a relative difference in amplification amount between the obtained DNA markers. According to one embodiment of the present invention, it is possible to simply, accurately, and rapidly detect an off-type (chromosomal aneuploid) that may occur in Brassica oleracea varieties, in a laboratory equipped with a general molecular biological equipment in the course of seed quality control and breeding research.

    Filed: August 17, 2018
Date of Patent: March 19, 2024
    Assignee: SAKATA SEED CORPORATION
Inventors: Atsushi Izumida, Takao Suzuki, Tetsuya Hiramoto
  • Patent number: 11672220
Abstract: A Brassica oleracea plant is provided having self-compatibility, or a progeny thereof, wherein the plant excludes cauliflower and Chinese kale. For example, a Brassica oleracea plant having self-compatibility is provided. Thereby, technical means that makes it possible to accomplish stable and efficient production of parental line seeds for a Brassica oleracea plant can be provided.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 22, 2019
Date of Patent: June 13, 2023
Inventors: Takao Suzuki, Atsushi Izumida, Tetsuya Hiramoto
  • Patent number: 11427832
Abstract: The present application discloses a cabbage having resistance against downy mildew or its progeny. The present application further discloses a method for breeding downy mildew resistant cabbage, including introducing downy mildew resistance from a Brassica oleracea plant having resistance against downy mildew into desired cabbage. One embodiment of the present invention provides a novel cabbage line showing high resistance against downy mildew and having a high commercial value as cabbage, and enables breeding such cabbage.
    Type: Grant

  • Publication number: 20050278772
Abstract: The present invention relates to a program effect creating device for performing effect creation for a broadcast program by receiving a command and executing the received command in synchronization with a predetermined scene in the broadcast program. The program effect creating device comprises: a memory unit operable to store a predefined identifier; a judgment unit operable to judge whether an identifier appended to the received command agrees with the predefined identifier stored by the memory unit; and an execution unit operable to, when a judgment result of the judgment unit is affirmative, decode and execute the received command to thereby perform the effect creation.

  • Publication number: 20030023987
Abstract: Because of limitations of a display area allocated on a mobile telephone or a remote controller, even if a program table is displayed according to the EPG information, the browsability of programs is mostly insufficient, and it is likely for a user to miss the program. In a case where a user updates recording reservation information of a program reserved for recording by using a mobile telephone of the present invention, the mobile telephone acquires the recording reservation information and information of broadcasting schedule, and displays point of difference between the recording reservation information and the information of the broadcasting schedule. Consequently, the user can easily and surely find the change of the broadcasting schedule, and match contents of update with the change.
