  • Patent number: 10738250
Abstract: A carbon-containing material gasification system includes: a gasifier that includes a combustion stage and a gasification stage, and generates generated gas; char providing means that separates char from the generated gas, and provides the combustion stage with the char, the combustion stage including carbon-containing material combustion means and char combustion means; and distributing ratio setting means that sets, according to a ratio of distributing material defined in Expression [1], a ratio of distributing oxidizing agent defined in Expression [2] to be smaller as the ratio of distributing material increases.

  • Patent number: 10415467
Abstract: Provided is an integrated coal gasification combined cycle equipped with: a gasifier that generates combustible gas from pulverized coal; a gas cooler; gas turbine equipment; an auxiliary fuel supply unit that supplies an auxiliary fuel to the gas turbine equipment; a heat recovery steam generator; steam turbine equipment; generators; and a circulation line unit that circulates cooling water. The heat recovery steam generator has a first medium-pressure coal economizer and a second medium-pressure coal economizer. When the combustible gas generated from the pulverized coal is burned, a serial heat exchange line is formed wherein cooling water passes through the first medium-pressure coal economizer, the second medium-pressure coal economizer, and the gas cooler. When the auxiliary fuel is burned, separate heat exchange lines are formed, wherein the cooling water separately passes through the first medium-pressure coal economizer and the second medium-pressure coal economizer.

  • Patent number: 9951284
Abstract: Provided is a gasifier cooling structure allowing the complexity of the furnace wall structure to be reduced to a minimum, allowing the configurability of headers and connecting pipes to be improved while maintaining as much as possible the ability to cool raw syngas. In the gasifier cooling structure, the raw syngas from a gasified carbonaceous solid fuel flows through the interior of a furnace wall formed inside a pressure vessel having a circular cross section, and the raw syngas is cooled by heat exchange with a fluid flowing inside a heat exchanger tube from a heat exchanger, whereof a plurality is provided within the furnace wall. The furnace wall has a polygonal structure wherein mutually orthogonal faces are linked by an oblique face in between, and whereof the cross sectional shape is such that the edge of the oblique face is shorter than the edges of the mutually orthogonal faces.

  • Publication number: 20130298465
Abstract: To provide a pulverized-coal supply system for a coal gasification furnace in which the consumption of inert gas (the amount used) can be reduced. The pulverized-coal supply system is equipped with a pulverized-coal supply hopper (3) that receives pulverized coal pulverized by a coal pulverizer (1); a first pressure tank (31) that, when the pulverized-coal supply hopper (3) receives the pulverized coal, temporarily recovers part of inert gas filled in the pulverized-coal supply hopper (3) and supplies the recovered inert gas into the pulverized-coal supply hopper (3), whose interior is in an atmospheric pressure state; and a second pressure tank (32) filled with inert gas having a pressure necessary for increasing the inner pressure of the pulverized-coal supply hopper (3) to a predetermined pressure.
