  • Patent number: 9571783
Abstract: A portable terminal and a computer readable storage medium are described. According to one implementation, a portable terminal includes, a storage section, an imaging section, a notifying section and a control section. The storage section stores item identification information to identify an item with a RFID tag attached corresponded with tag position information which shows a position of the RFID tag. The control section retrieves item identification information of an item corresponding to image data imaged by the imaging section from the stored item identification information, and allows the notifying section to notify the tag position information corresponding to the retrieved item identification information.

  • Patent number: 8226006
Abstract: A code reader device, prior to extracting a code from an image captured by a camera, receives an image size data, and according to the received image size, displays the captured image on the display device so that a code extracting target area is discriminated from a remaining area. A layout of the captured image on a display screen becomes flexible, so that usability for reading the code can be improved.

  • Patent number: 7832642
Abstract: A bar-code reading apparatus includes a reading section to read a bar-code a plurality of times to obtain multiple pieces of bar-code image data; a storage section to store the pieces of bar-code image data; a detection section to detect a moving state of the reading section in a three-dimensional space during a reading operation of the bar-code; a correction section to correct the pieces of bar-code image data stored in the storage section into pieces of bar-code image data which are obtained if the bar-code is read when the reading section is at a preset reference position with respect to the bar-code, based on the moving state detected by the detection section; a synthesis section to synthesize the pieces of bar-code image data corrected by the correction section to produce synthesized image data; and a decode section to decode the synthesized image data.

  • Publication number: 20040239765
Abstract: When a photographed image which has been photographed by a camera is transmitted, a portable terminal equipped with such a camera is capable of transmitting the photographed image to a transmission destination thereof in a proper manner, while a user need not perform a specific operation as to this portable terminal equipped with the camera. Under such a condition that a CPU stores/manages a registration record in which images of persons have been registered in correspondence with mail addresses every person, in such a case that the CPU analyzes a photographed image photographed by a camera apparatus so as to recognize that an image of a person as a transmission subject is contained in this analyzed photographed image, the CPU transmits the recognized photographed image to such a mail address corresponding to the relevant person in the mail form.
