  • Patent number: 9502833
Abstract: A connector device includes: a first connector including a first housing; and a second connector including a second housing. When the first housing is not oriented in a direction in which the first housing is fitted into the second housing, the first housing becomes fitted into the second housing after rotation. The first connector includes a third connector attached to the first housing. The third connector has a third housing including a cylindrical portion. The first housing can move relative to the cylindrical portion between a pre-fit position and a fit-rotation position. The first housing and the cylindrical portion of the third housing are provided with: a rotation block portion to block rotation of the first housing relative to the cylindrical portion while at the pre-fit position; and a rotation guide portion to guide the rotation of the first housing relative to the cylindrical portion while at the fit-rotation position.

  • Patent number: 9431752
Abstract: A connector device includes a wire harness side connector including a first housing, and a sensor side connector including a second housing. The first connector includes a third housing provided so as to be freely rotatable in the first housing. The first housing rotates with respect to the third housing and is fitted to the second housing. The first housing is freely movable with respect to the third housing in the axial direction between a pre-fitting position and a fitting completion position and has a force applied thereto by a spring on the pre-fitting position side. A rotational position return mechanism is provided that returns, when the connector fitting is released, the rotational position of the first housing to an initial rotational position during a process in which the first housing is moved from the fitting completion position to the pre-fitting position by an elastic force of the spring.

  • Patent number: 9397434
Abstract: A first housing of a first connector being fitted to a second housing of a second connector includes first and second rotation check lock portions. A third housing of the first connector includes rotation rail portions with first and second rotation prevention walls. The first rotation prevention wall allows rotation of the first rotation check lock portion beyond the first rotation prevention wall in one rotational direction, and does not allow the rotation beyond the first rotation prevention wall in the other rotational direction to blocks the rotation at a rotational position of 180 degrees or more. The second rotation prevention wall does not allow rotation of the second rotation check lock portion beyond the second rotation prevention wall in the one rotational direction to block the rotation at a rotational position of 180 degrees, and allows the rotation beyond the second rotation prevention wall in the other rotational direction.
