  • Patent number: 7558064
Abstract: The cooling apparatus comprises an air supply system, a water supply system, and a sprayer, and has a structure such that water and compressed air are mixed and the air is sprayed together with the water converted into mist onto the upper surface of a device attached to a socket of a burn-in board. The heat generated by the device is removed via the mist and air that falls on the upper surface. When a burn-in test is conducted the cooling apparatus adjusts the water and air supply so that the device is cooled to the target temperature.

  • Patent number: 7498830
Abstract: The burn-in apparatus includes a water supply system and a sprayer and has a structure such that water is converted into mist and sprayed onto the upper surface of a device attached to a socket of a burn-in board. The amount of heat generated by the device that generates high heat is removed by the amount of heat that includes a large latent heat from when the mist falls on the upper surface and is evaporated. Burn-in of the device is conducted while it is being cooled to the target temperature.

  • Patent number: 7257956
Abstract: A cooling apparatus configured such that a cooling body provided with heat-dissipating plates is pressed against a device to which a socket of a burn-in board is attached, and air is provided by a blower such that the air passes between the heat-dissipating plates, and compressed air provided from a compressed air supply system is discharged by a nozzle so that it directly hits a portion of the cooling upper surface of the cooling body. By means of the cooling effects from these two types of air, a device generating a large amount of heat can be cooled with good temperature accuracy.

  • Patent number: 7220213
Abstract: A vehicle control apparatus is configured to avoid a forward lunging of a vehicle during a downshift while decelerating. The vehicle control apparatus has a clutch element that operatively coupled to an output of an engine to perform a gear shift operation and a controller that controls engine speed during shifts. If deceleration fuel cutoff conditions are met immediately after engine speed control accompanying a gear shift, delaying the start of fuel cutoff is prohibited and fuel cutoff is started right away whenever the deceleration operating conditions immediately prior to the start of engine speed control have been sustained for at least a specific length of time. On the other hand, if the deceleration duration is less than the specified time, the start of fuel cutoff is delayed so as to avoid catalyst overheating.

  • Patent number: 7214162
Abstract: A vehicle control apparatus is provided to synchronize the engine rotational speed during a gear shifting operation of a transmission by feedback-controlling the engine rotational speed at a level of response that is well-suited to the needs of the driver. When the transmission downshifts under conditions in which a brake switch is OFF and an accelerator pedal is completely released, the feedback gain used to feedback-control the engine rotational speed is set in such a manner that the engine rotational speed converges in a stable manner toward a target rotational speed (synchronization rotational speed) and gear shift shock is alleviated. Meanwhile, when the transmission downshifts under conditions in which the brake switch is ON or the accelerator pedal is depressed, the feedback gain is set in such a manner that the engine rotational speed approaches the target rotational speed quickly and a high gear shift response is ensured.

  • Publication number: 20060080018
Abstract: An engine torque control device is configured to reduce shift shock while shortening shift time and improving shift response in an engine equipped with a shifting unit. In the engine torque control device engine output torque is subjected to feedback control so that the engine speed will be the target speed (synchronizing speed) after a downshift. The feedback control includes at least a proportional control and a differential control. The differential control is halted until the difference between the synchronizing speed and the actual engine speed is equal to or less than a specified value. Differential control is only performed at or below this specified value.
