  • Patent number: 9304318
Abstract: A display device for a vehicle includes a deploying and accommodating mechanism configured to change a state of disposition of a combiner between a position of a use state in which a display can be seen in the observation region and a position of an unused state in which a display cannot be seen in the observation region. The deploying and accommodating mechanism includes a restricting unit configured to restrict an inclination, with respect to a prescribed direction, of a surface of the combiner to a predetermined angle of a ghost suppression state at least when the combiner is located at the position of the use state.

  • Publication number: 20150212923
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a program causes a processor to perform providing, by a fault injection module, cooperation information to a debug function. The program causes a processor to perform receiving, by the fault injection module, a notification of at least one of condition related information and action related information as a response to the cooperation information from the debug function. The program causes a processor to perform determining, by the fault injection module, at least one of a fault injection condition and a fault injection action based on the notification. The program causes a processor to perform creating, by the fault injection module, a fault injection scenario that defines a fault injection procedure with respect to the fault injection target based on at least one of the determined fault injection condition and fault injection action.

  • Patent number: 9052504
Abstract: A head-up display includes a display device and a combiner that has a rear surface brought into contact with an inner surface of a windshield of a vehicle, and reflects a display light rays emitted from the display device by a front surface of the combiner toward a driver in the vehicle. The front surface forms a first arc-shaped optical surface which receives and reflects the display light rays toward the driver so that the driver sees a first virtual image of the display light rays with a set magnification greater than 1 on the outside of the windshield. The rear surface forms a second arc-shaped optical surface which receives and reflects the display light ray toward the driver so that the driver sees a second virtual image which coincides with the first virtual image in terms of the size and position on an outside of the windshield.

  • Patent number: 7764430
Abstract: A display device for a vehicle is provided, by which a driver of the vehicle is free from a trouble of adjusting a display position of the virtual image without cost-up of the device. When the support start detecting means detects a support start timing of adjusting a reflection angle, for example, a timing of an operation of an operation switch or a start of an operation, the rotation control means controls the rotating means so that the reflecting member having a reflection angle indicated by the reflection angle data stored in the reflection angle data storing means is (a) rotated within an adjustment supporting range on a condition that the reflecting member is reflecting the display light from the display source and (b) returned to a reflection angle indicated by the reflection angle data.

  • Publication number: 20090271017
Abstract: In a machine tool which executes a plurality of programs simultaneously to perform machining, whether or not a precision machining operation period exists in each of the programs is analyzed before machining. If the precision machining operation period exists as a result of the analysis, the start timing and end timing of an ordered precision machining is recognized. Also, at least one of the speed, acceleration, and jerk of a general operation from start timing to end timing in a program for which the precision machining operation period is not specified is lowered. Accordingly, it is possible to provide a machine tool and its program conversion method, capable of performing precision machining with high precision without receiving an adverse effect from other operations, and capable of obtaining good machining efficiency.
