  • Patent number: 8625733
Abstract: A neutron source rodlet assembly having a separate source capsule assembly that is not encapsulated within the neutron source rodlet assembly. The neutron source rodlet assembly is made up, at least in part, of a neutron source positioning rodlet assembly and the source capsule assembly configured such that assembly together is feasible at a remote site and they can be shipped separately. The source capsule assembly has outer and inner capsules with the outer capsule having a threaded stud at one end that mates with a complimentary threaded recess on the neutron source positioning rodlet assembly. The inner capsule contains a neutron source. The neutron source positioning rodlet assembly and the source capsule assembly are locked together at their interface when the threaded joint is completely tightened. A secondary neutron source material may also be encapsulated within a hollow portion of the neutron source positioning rodlet assembly.

  • Publication number: 20130254820
Abstract: Systems and methods for delivering media over a network are provided. Multiple media assets are stored on a server, as well as a representation for at least one media asset. The representation of a media asset is delivered to a client. A client user request based on selection of a representation is received, and the represented media asset is delivered from the server in response to the client user request.

  • Patent number: 7492049
Abstract: A layered test pattern for measuring registration and critical dimension (CD) for multi-layer semiconductor integrated circuits is disclosed. A first layer includes a first pattern having vertical and horizontal portions. A second layer is formed over the first layer and includes a second pattern having vertical and horizontal portions having nominal vertical and horizontal phase shifts with respect to the vertical and horizontal portions, respectively, of the first pattern. The vertical and horizontal portions include periodically repeating vertical lines and horizontal lines, respectively. The nominal phase shifts may be half of the period of the vertical and horizontal lines. A scatterometry tool measures the width of the lines and the phase shift of the first pattern relative to the second pattern. The width of the lines corresponds to CD, whereas the difference between the measured phase shift and the nominal phase shift indicates variation in registration.

  • Patent number: 7426696
Abstract: Improved techniques for managing image data associating with asset records in an electronic media programs catalog list between a media server (e.g., a video-on-demand server) and a terminal device or a client system (e.g., a set-top box) is disclosed. The catalog list is created by a module and displayed on a terminal device. Each of the asset records represents a media program that the user can browse. Each of these media programs may associate with a graphical image data, which is also displayed, when the user browses at that particular record. The image data are stored on the media server with a portion duplicated in an image windowing cache on the terminal device. The image windowing cache is intelligently filled by a predictive pre-fetch operation in the background while the user browses a particular record. The predictive operation ensures additional n images are pre-fetched in user scroll direction.

  • Patent number: 6769127
Abstract: A media system that centrally manages and stores media contents and also controls the delivery of media content to subscribers is disclosed. According to one aspect, an administrator can control program scheduling, rates, service packages and system configuration for a media delivery system. Additionally, the administrator may also control billing, transaction monitoring, and customer relations. According to another aspect, the media delivery system provides subscribers with centrally managed storage for paused or recorded media. Still another aspect is that the media delivery system can restrict various administrators to different modules of the media delivery system.

  • Patent number: 6325428
Abstract: Disclosed is a latch assembly including sensor for releasably engaging an aircraft panel to a keeper. The latch assembly includes a latch housing and a latch mounted in the latch housing. The latch includes a hook rotatably mounted to the latch housing, and a linkage, moveable into and out of a locked position, rotatably mounted to the latch housing and the hook. The latch also includes a sensor, moveable between a blocking and unblocking position, mounted to the hook. In the blocking position, the sensor prevents the linkage from moving to its locked position and the latch assembly from closing. In the unblocking position, the sensor is moved away from the linkage allowing the linkage to move to its locked position and the latch assembly to close.
