  • Publication number: 20150307248
Abstract: A combination includes a lockable package (710) and an auxiliary clip (100). The package has an outer container (709) and a lockable receptacle (790). The package includes a two-part locking mechanism for locking the lockable receptacle within the outer container. The outer container has a first part (740) of the two-part locking mechanism whereas the lockable receptacle has a second part (795) of the two-part locking mechanism. The outer container also has a release mechanism (760) for deactivating the two-part locking mechanism for withdrawal of the lockable receptacle. The auxiliary clip has at least two legs (106, 102a) and is fittable onto the package in the region of the release mechanism for applying a force directed such that the release mechanism is activated.

  • Publication number: 20140262839
Abstract: A package including an outer sleeve including a first locking structure, a lockable receptacle lockably retained within the outer sleeve for sliding movement between a fully inserted position and an outwardly extended position, the lockable receptacle comprising a second locking structure, and a deactivating component removably associated with the first locking structure of the outer sleeve. When the deactivating component associates with the outer sleeve, the first locking structure is prevented from engaging with the second locking structure of the lockable receptacle such that the lockable receptacle is slidable to the outwardly extended position.

  • Patent number: 8333280
Abstract: A child-resistant package (100) is formed from a sleeve (14) comprising a top (16) and a base (18), at least one of which is an outer wall of the sleeve (14). A release mechanism (20) for facilitating access to the contents of the package (100) is disposed in the outer wall (16). A decoy cover (60) having at least one outermost panel (62) is disposed in relation to the outer wall (16) to obscure the release mechanism (20). The package (100) may include an insert (12) that is held within the sleeve (14) by a locking mechanism that is disengaged by the release mechanism (20). The decoy cover (60) is attached to the outer wall (16) in a manner that facilitates repeated successive removal and reattachment of the decoy cover (60). The decoy cover (60) may further include one or more additional panels (64) disposed in flat-face condition with the outermost panel (62).
