    Abstract: Cyclic pyrazole compounds are described which inhibit mitogen activated protein kinase-activated protein kinase-2 (MK-2). Methods of making such compounds are described, as well as a method of using them for the inhibition of MK-2 in a subject in need of such inhibition, where the method involves administering to the subject an MK-2 inhibiting compound of the present invention.
