  • Patent number: 11481254
Abstract: Managing batched jobs is provided. The method comprises receiving a job batch request from a client for a number of processing jobs. Each job is registered, and jobs that are ready for execution at a specified time are collected. For each collected job an instance of the job is locked to prevent duplicate execution. The locked jobs are queued, and a container is created for each job in the queue. A method of execution is determined for each job in the queue, and each job is then executed according the method determined for that job. Job events for each executing job are logged, a determination if a job was completed successfully is made according to its respective job events. A job status is updated for each completed job. The container of each completed job is then destroyed, and each completed job is unlocked.

  • Patent number: 7284731
Abstract: A clamp for a sanitary fitting includes a first and a second semicircular part that are circumscribed by a flexible cable tie. Each semicircular part has a concave side and a convex side. A channel is formed in each concave and each convex side. The concave channels accommodate a flange of a sanitary fitting when the first and second semicircular parts are disposed in confronting relation to one another. The cable tie positioned in the convex channels circumscribes the confronting semicircular parts. A cable tie catch slidingly receives a free end of the cable tie when the cable tie circumscribes the first and second semicircular parts. A marker on the cable tie registers with the catch or another marker on the cable tie when the cable tie is under a predetermined amount of tension to ensure that the same amount of tension is consistently applied to the cable tie.

  • Patent number: RE29177
Abstract: A satellite is compensated for torques caused by solar pressure on a solar panel extending from the satellite by an air core coil energized to develop a magnetic torque in opposition to the solar pressure torque. The coil is disposed generally in the periphery of the solar panel mounted externally to the satellite. The energizing current is fixed or varied by ground command or automatically in a closed loop system to compensate for variations in the earth's magnetic field.
