A first end of the arm member is coupled to the audio headset and a second end of the arm member is coupled to the mouthpiece. The mouthpiece extends in front of a mouth of a user for transmitting audio information to an external receiver when the user speaks into the mouthpiece. A shield is coupled to the microphone and is positioned adjacent to the mouthpiece wherein the shield covers the mouth of the user when the user speaks into the mouthpiece.
