  • Patent number: 11074823
Abstract: A system for aiding landing includes a module for computing by extrapolation a trajectory of the aircraft on the basis of its current position, a module for determining whether the extrapolated trajectory cuts the ground ahead of a threshold of the landing runway, a module for measuring a current height of the aircraft above an overflown terrain, a module for determining whether the current height corresponds to a risk height, an alert module for generating an alert only if the two determinations carried out by the two determination modules are positive, and if the aircraft is situated at a distance with respect to the threshold of the landing runway which is less than a predetermined threshold distance.

  • Patent number: 10943491
Abstract: A method of synthetic visualization of a scene viewed from an aircraft and synthetic vision system. The system includes a processing unit for generating a synthetic image of a scene ahead of the aircraft, a unit for displaying on a visualization screen a background image corresponding to this synthetic image and symbols for piloting the aircraft, and a monitoring device including a unit for generating at least two virtual control elements, representations of the control elements integrated into the synthetic image, a unit for detecting on the synthetic image the representations and their position, and a unit for verifying whether these positions are consistent with position of a line of zero pitch and/or of a line of zero roll of the aircraft, the display being carried out only in case of consistency between these positions, that is to say the absence of any problem of orientation of the synthetic image.

Inventors: Olivier Rieux-Lopez, Arnaud Davy, Thibault Pinchon
  • Patent number: 9112369
Abstract: A switched-mode power supply device including a charger connected on one side to a direct current electrical network, or rectified alternating current electrical network, a power reserve connected to a second side of the charger, and DC-DC output converters delivering regulated output voltages. The output converters are connected by an input to the first side of the charger. The charger is a current bidirectional, voltage unidirectional converter which, in a first phase, enables the power reserve to be recharged and maintained charged from the network, where the output converters are powered by the network and, in a second phase, in the presence of a power brown-out of the network, enables the power reserve to be discharged to power the output converters. A reverse blocking module is connected to the first side of the charger to disconnect the charger and the output converters from the network during the second phase.
