  • Patent number: 11968700
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are described for providing network access services to mobile users via mobile terminals over a satellite system. In embodiments, dynamic multiplexing of traffic from fixed terminals and mobile users on the same satellite beam can take advantage of statistical multiplexing of large numbers of users and on different usage patterns between fixed terminals and mobile users. In embodiments, quality-of-service (QoS) is controlled for mobile devices at a per-user level. Mobile users may be provisioned on the satellite system according to a set of traffic policies based on their service level agreement (SLA). System resources of the satellite may be allocated to mobile users based on the demand of each mobile user and the set of traffic polices associated with each mobile user, regardless of which mobile terminal is used to access the system.

  • Publication number: 20240121655
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. For example, the described techniques provide for a first device (e.g., a cellular modem or user equipment (UE)) mapping quality of service flows of a first radio access technology (e.g., cellular) to service classes of a second RAT (e.g., Wi-Fi). The first device may communicate mapping information that indicates the mapping to a second network device (e.g., a router). The first device and the second device may communicate various packets via the quality of service flows and the service classes.

  • Publication number: 20230232437
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are described for providing network access services to mobile users via multi-user network access terminals over a multi-beam satellite system. Quality-of-service (QoS) is controlled for the mobile devices at a per-user level according to user-specific traffic policies. Mobile users may be provisioned on the satellite system according to a set of traffic policies based on their service level agreement (SLA). System resources of the satellite may be allocated to mobile users based on the demand of each mobile user and the set of traffic polices associated with each mobile user, regardless of which multi-user network access terminal is used to access the system. Dynamic multiplexing of traffic from fixed terminals and mobile users on the same satellite beam can take advantage of statistical multiplexing of large numbers of users and on different usage patterns between fixed terminals and mobile users.

  • Patent number: 11369486
Abstract: Surgical constructs, assemblies and methods of tissue fixation are disclosed. An anterior glenoid guide is a cuboid block configured to be introduced via the rotator interval to lie on the anterior glenoid. The guide has an internal thread for a handle and two flanges which lie on the anterior glenoid. On the anterior face (opposite the neck of the glenoid), the guide is provided with two holes which are sized to receive a drill guide. The holes mate with slots such that the block can be removed after sutures and fixation devices are installed. The anterior glenoid guide can be an arthroscopic anterior glenoid graft guide.

  • Patent number: 10933433
Abstract: A hand-held high-pressure cleaning machine includes: a housing, having a handle for grasping; functional components, including a motor and a pump driven by the motor; and a liquid inlet, disposed on the housing and capable of being connected to an external water source by a water pipe. The hand-held high-pressure cleaning machine further includes an adapter suitable to be connected between the liquid inlet and a portable container, and is connected to the external water source by the water pipe or connected to the portable container by the adapter. In the present invention, the portable container configured to hold liquid is mounted to the hand-held high-pressure cleaning machine by using the adapter, so that it can be flexibly moved together with the hand-held high-pressure cleaning machine. The present invention further provides an adapter suitable to be connected between a portable container and a hand-held spraying device.

Abstract: An example data storage system includes a number of storage devices, and processing circuitry. The processing circuit may implement a redundant array of independent disks (RAID) volume using the storage devices, determine an estimated read wait time for each of the storage devices, sort the estimated read wait times into bins of a specified set of bins, and associate bin numbers with the storage devices based on the bins of their respective estimated read wait times.
