Patent number: 11954669Abstract: Authentication method and systems using RFID-enabled payment cards are disclosed herein where a server receives a request corresponding to authorization of a payment associated with a payment card from an electronic terminal. The server identifies an electronic device of a user associated with the payment card. The server then transmits an instruction to the electronic device to cause an RFID reader of the electronic device to determine whether an RFID tag corresponding to the payment card is located within a predetermined proximity to the electronic device. When the payment card is located within the predetermined proximity, the server executes a first authentication protocol. Moreover, when the payment card is not located within the predetermined proximity, the server executes a second authentication protocol, wherein the second authentication protocol is more restrictive than the first authentication protocol.Type: GrantFiled: August 2, 2022Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: United Services Automobile Association (USAA)Inventors: Bryan J. Publication number: 20240095788Abstract: Apparatus and method for a scalable pricing engine. A scalable pricing engine is operable in a low-scale mode and a high-scale or scalable mode to process pricing data in response to pricing requests. The pricing engine operates in a first runtime environment in the low-scale mode in which it can service pricing requests up to a threshold number and in which the pricing data can be updated and tested. The pricing engine also operates in a second runtime environment which is a scalable runtime supporting pricing requests above the specified threshold. The scalable runtime and pricing engine rely on a scalable read-only data service which distributes a read-only copy of at least a portion of the pricing data from the primary database, a high-scale cache to reduce access latency, data processing and network resource allocations, and data reduction techniques when processing requests and responses.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 20, 2022Publication date: March 21, 2024Applicant: Salesforce, Inc.Inventors: Parth Vijay Vaishnav, Thomas Jones, Mitchell Christensen, Daniel May, Harpreet Singh, Jalaleldeen Aref

Patent number: 11935002Abstract: The system and methods described herein allow users to apply for a purchase of a good from multiple providers using provider specific methodologies for generating offers for the product. For example, the system described herein may include a multi-layer architecture that includes interactive micro-services that communicate together in a bi-directional manner to create a normalized process for the purchase of a good, such as commercial goods/products (e.g. a vehicle) or real property. The micro-services may assess prequalification for a loan or financing for a good, followed by determining eligibility of the good for financing, and further followed by calculating pricing details for loans (e.g. for financing purchase of the good) that would be offered for a consumer's particular financial credentials, for each of a plurality of lenders. Prequalification and pricing may be performed on a good by good basis, or for a plurality of goods near or substantially simultaneously.Type: GrantFiled: May 22, 2020Date of Patent: March 19, 2024Assignee: Capital One Services, LLCInventors: Dinesh Sundaram, Rajaboopathy Vijayaraghavan, Sanjiv Yajnik, Raman Bajaj, Jacques Morel, Trent Jones, Thomas Sickert, Jacob Creech, Alan Ilango, Alex Baird, Vikramaditya Repaka, Hala Salim El-Ali

Patent number: 11933843Abstract: An Automated Dynamic low voltage monitoring (LVM) based Low-Power (ADLLP) debug capability for a system-on-chip (SoC) as well as the open/closed-chassis platform for faster TTM (Time to Market) of the final platform or system. ADLLP Debug is achieved by detection of the probe connection between a target system (e.g., SoC) and debug host system. A user can dynamically override the power, clocks and LVM for intellectual property (IP) blocks not part of the debug trace by instructing a Power Management Controller (PMC) via the Inter Processor Communication (IPC) mailbox (or any other suitable mailbox driver) to set the registers in a Target Firmware (TFW) based on the probe and debug use-case.Type: GrantFiled: July 15, 2021Date of Patent: March 19, 2024Assignee: Intel CorporationInventors: Keith A. Patent number: 11935003Abstract: The system and methods described herein allow users to give their applicant information when seeking to submit an inquiry associated with a product provided by at least one entity, and have various lender microservices run in parallel, segregated by entity, in a jailed and self-contained, autonomous environment. The result of these microservices may be returned as a response to the inquity, being determined autonomously for each respective entity based on one or more respective rule sets or executable logic for each respective entity. Payloads for multiple entities may be combined in a single output from the jailed and self-contained environment due to outputs from the environment being encrypted in a universal format, wherein the outputs are decrypted in a user session in an application, allowing the user to see the results of the respective responses of each of the at least one entity, to their inquiry.Type: GrantFiled: May 22, 2020Date of Patent: March 19, 2024Assignee: Capital One Services, LLCInventors: Dinesh Sundaram, Raman Bajaj, Jacques Morel, Sanjiv Yajnik, Trent Jones, Alan Ilango, Jacob Creech, Avijit Sarkar, Rajaboopathy Vijayaraghavan, Ishu Gupta, Thomas Sickert

Patent number: 11924246Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to detecting and identifying malicious sites using machine learning. A computing platform may receive a uniform resource locator (URL). The computing platform may parse and/or tokenize the URL to reduce the URL into a plurality of components. The computing platform may identify human-engineered features of the URL. The computing platform may compute a vector representation of the URL to identify deep learned features of the URL. The computing platform may concatenate the human-engineered features of the URL to the deep learned features of the URL, resulting in a concatenated vector representation. By inputting the concatenated vector representation of the URL to a URL classifier, the computing platform may compute a phish classification score. In response to determining that the phish classification score exceeds a first phish classification threshold, the computing platform may cause a cybersecurity server to perform a first action.Type: GrantFiled: February 1, 2023Date of Patent: March 5, 2024Assignee: Proofpoint, Inc.Inventors: Brian Sanford Jones, Zachary Mitchell Abzug, Jeremy Thomas Jordan, Giorgi Kvernadze, Dallan Quass
