  • Patent number: 11256652
Abstract: A Multi-I/O SPI for precision converters supports a Dual/Quad/Octal SPI to support the speed requirements for digital transmission and also includes a special mode that can be enabled by hardware and/or software to remove the bit scrambling requirement dictated by the JEDEC standard. The special mode removes the scramble requirement and associates each of the bidirectional data lines to a specific channel. The special mode provides backward compatibility that permits the precision converter to be used with controllers that do not natively support the JEDEC standard. Also, the Multi-I/O SPI includes registers divided into a primary region that is accessed only in default mode at power-up for write and/or read operations, and a secondary region that is accessed by any mode enabled in the control register. By restricting access to the “control” register area to a pre-defined mode in the converter at power-up, the access mode can be controlled.

  • Publication number: 20220000075
Abstract: The invention presents a harness assembly for lifting and supporting an animal in mobility. The assembly comprises a front and rear harness sections releasably attached by a lifting leash. Both the front and rear harness sections can be used independently. Both the front and rear harness sections are comprised of upper and lower sections releasably attached to one another. The rear harness section lifts the animal from both the hips and waist resulting in less stress than other devices.

  • Publication number: 20210356395
Abstract: A specular variable angle absolute reflectometer includes a light source and a mirror system in a light path of the light source. The mirror system is configured to reflect a light beam from the light source towards a sample that is optically reflective. The device also includes an elliptical roof mirror disposed in the light path after the sample having an ellipsoidal reflector surface configured to reflect the light beam back towards the sample. The device also includes a mechanism connected to the elliptical roof mirror. The mechanism is configured to rotate the elliptical roof mirror about an axis of the sample. The device also includes a detector in the light path after the elliptical roof mirror such that the detector receives light that has been reflected from the elliptical roof mirror, thence back to the sample, thence back to the mirror system, and thence to the detector.

  • Publication number: 20210325925
Abstract: There is described an upstream device for translating clock domain for non-synchronized sensors comprising a communication component, a memory component, and a processor. The communication component detects a report received from a sensor that includes a beacon receive time in a sensor clock domain and a current report transmit time in the sensor clock domain. The memory component provides a previous report receive time in the aggregator clock domain and a previous report transmit time in the sensor clock domain. The processor identifies a current report receive time in an aggregator clock domain based on the report detected by the communication component. The processor also determines a beacon receive time in the aggregator clock domain based, at least in part, on the beacon receive time in the sensor clock domain, the current report transmit time, the current report receive time, the previous report receive time, the previous report transmit time.

  • Publication number: 20210325926
Abstract: There is described a system for translating clock domain for non-synchronized sensors comprising a first sensor, a second sensor, and an upstream device. The first and second sensors receive a beacon from a tag. Each sensor transmits a report including a beacon receive time in a sensor clock domain. The upstream device receives the reports and translates beacon receive times from the sensor clock domain to an aggregator clock domain. The translation is based, at least in part, on beacon reception data of the sensors, report transmission data of the sensors, and report reception data of the upstream device. The upstream device determines a location of the tag based on a delta of the beacon receive times in the aggregator clock domain.

  • Patent number: 10999230
Abstract: Techniques of relevant content surfacing in a computer productivity platform are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a method includes receiving, at an email server of the computer productivity platform, an email having a message body containing content and determining whether the content of the email contains a request to or a commitment by the user. In response to determining that the content of the email contains a request to or a commitment, inserting metadata containing one or more properties of the request or commitment into the email, the metadata. Then, when viewing of the content of the email by the user is detected, the computer productivity platform is queried for additional content using the properties of the request or commitment as keywords. The additional content is then surfaced to the user as being related to the content in the message body of the email.

  • Publication number: 20210069502
Abstract: A device and method for rejuvenating skin includes a power supply adapted to generate a voltage and an applicator. The applicator includes a first node and a second node, wherein the first node is adapted to be configurable between a positive electrode or electrically isolated from the power supply, and wherein the second node is adapted to be configurable between a negative electrode or electrically isolated from the power supply. The power supply delivers a current through the first node when the first node is configured as the positive electrode and current returns to the power supply through the second node when the second node is configured to be the negative electrode.

  • Publication number: 20210054303
Abstract: A method for producing a high viscosity, low volatiles blown stripped oil blend is provided. The method may include the steps of: (i) obtaining an oil blend of corn stillage oil and soybean oil having a weight ratio of corn stillage oil to soybean oil of from about 1:2 to 3:1; (ii) heating the oil blend to at least 90° C.; (iii) passing air through the heated oil blend to produce a blown oil having a viscosity of at least 50 cSt at 40° C.; and (iv) stripping the blown oil from step (iii) to reduce an acid value of the blown oil to less than 5.0 mg KOH/gram.

  • Patent number: 10725632
Abstract: Techniques for providing an in-place contextual menu and user interface for email and other information management system triage are provided in which a contextual menu can be overlaid or replace an item on a view screen. The contextual menu can provide action commands specific to the type and state of the items selected in the feature view of the email or other information management system. A single recognized selection input, such as a swipe gesture, selects an item and invokes an in-place contextual menu presenting actions that can be asserted on the selected item. Multiple item selection is available through the same invocation of presenting the in-place contextual menu.
