  • Publication number: 20220290908
Abstract: The present invention relates to temperature control packages, such as coolant packages that are used to maintain a product within a narrow temperature range, a method of making the same and a system. In particular, the present invention relates to temperature control elements and temperature control packages which can be readily manufactured from natural materials and be capable of being readily recycled. Phase Change Material (PCM) technology allows one to configure, vis-a-vis logistics, a mixture of PCM components, to maintain an insulated box or container over a prescribed period—typically from 12-120 hours—within a prescribed temperature range taking into account, the volume and weight of the particular good being transported, the nature of the container, the season, the climate likely to be encountered, the anticipated route (air/sea/land) container configuration and hemisphere.

  • Patent number: 11364178
Abstract: The disclosure includes a device made of a lightweight plastic that will hook around the neck like a hanger, releasing with very little force to prevent injury. The device hangs down the front of the body to form a loop for stability. Down the center will be a retractable feeding tube holder arm that can adjust 180 degrees up and down and left to right, and lock-in any position in-between on a universal joint. The arm also will have a quick release to avoid injury. The arm will have an alternating clip to attach to variable size tubes as needed. This will allow for everyday support and hands free interaction with the tube. A pair of support arms terminate in a support pad each and attach to the universal joint. A method of supporting a gastric tube on a patient via the device is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20110268199
Abstract: A method and system for embedded communications that allows for FFT/IFFT-capable radio-controlled improvised explosive devices (“RC-IED”) force protection systems to communication information across local networks to enhance force protection operations and to provide additional data capacity to support other tactical operations. The communications system utilizes a significant amount of existing system hardware and software such that the addition of these communications capabilities does not significantly affect the unit cost of the RC-IED force protection system within which it is embedded.

  • Patent number: 7677569
Abstract: A card game simulative of automobile track racing comprises a deck of cards having several categories of cards, including lap cards, offensive pit cards, defensive pit cards, sponsor cards, and a draft card, a die for determining a track condition for each round of play, and a method for keeping score to determine the order of finish for each player. The rules of the game closely simulate auto track racing with each player utilizing the cards in a strategic manner based upon certain track conditions and that approximates the strategic decisions an actual auto track racer makes during a race.
