  • Publication number: 20230118476
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a rinsing apparatus for connection to an application-agent main channel of an application-agent changeover unit and preferably for the continuous inflow of a rinsing agent into a flow of rinsing air, having a main line for transporting rinsing air and having a rinsing-agent line for transporting a rinsing agent. The rinsing apparatus is distinguished in particular in that the rinsing-agent line opens out into the main line by way of a mouth opening in order to generate a preferable y continuous flow of a rinsing-air/rinsing-agent mixture for introduction into the application-agent main channel. The disclosure also relates to a corresponding rinsing method.

  • Patent number: 9004890
Abstract: The invention relates to a gear wheel pump with two meshing gear wheels which are rotatably mounted within a pump housing by means of a driven driveshaft and a crankshaft journal and which form a pumping channel system between a pump inlet and a pump outlet. Several gaps are formed between the pump housing, the gear wheels, the driveshaft, and the crankshaft journal. One of the gaps between the driveshaft and one of the gear wheels contains means for the rotationally fixed connection of the driveshaft to the gear wheel. In order to prevent leakages penetrating to the connecting means, according to the invention the gap between the driveshaft and the gear wheel is sealed, with respect to the front faces of the gear wheel, by means of a sealant.

  • Patent number: 5356519
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a support beam for a scraper blade which is in contact with the shell surface of a drying cylinder. The support beam comprises an oblong hollow body made of a fiber composite material wherein the major fiber orientation is essentially in the longitudinal expanse of the hollow body. The hollow body has at least two longitudinal walls of convex curvature as well as two transition sections of convex rounding which connect the longitudinal walls to one another. The radius of curvature of each longitudinal wall is greater than its width while the radius of curvature of each transition zone is smaller than the width of an adjacent longitudinal wall.
