  • Publication number: 20230064739
Abstract: An exhaust system includes an exhaust gas-carrying pipe and a bypass to the exhaust gas-carrying pipe. The bypass has at least one inlet pipe and at least one outlet pipe. An exhaust gas sensor is arranged in the bypass between the inlet pipe and the outlet pipe in such a way that exhaust gas flowing through the bypass flows through the exhaust gas sensor. An accelerator accelerates the gas flow downstream of the exhaust gas sensor and is coupled to the outlet pipe. At least one inlet portion extends from the inlet pipe to the exhaust gas sensor, the flow cross-section of which is smaller than the flow cross-section of the inlet pipe and opens into an inlet of the exhaust gas sensor.

  • Patent number: 9593454
Abstract: A barrier system for alternately shutting and opening the vehicle entrance or pedestrian entrance of two lines or transport paths which cross one another and of which one is at least twice as wide as the other. On the four corners of the lines (15, 16) which cross one another, in each case one barrier system (17) with in each case one barrier boom (1, 18) which can be pivoted horizontally out of the vehicle entrance of one line (15) into the vehicle entrance of the other line (16) is installed. Two of the barrier systems (17) which lie diagonally opposite to one another and have in each case one barrier boom (1) which can be folded lengthwise from an elongate position. The two other barrier systems (17) which lie diagonally opposite to one another have in each case one conventional barrier boom (18) which is rigid over its entire length.

  • Publication number: 20140360680
Abstract: The invention relates to a barrier skirt (3,3?), e.g. for access barriers or railway barriers, which consists of a number of stanchions (4,4?) of identical shape which are suspended at mutual spacings between a barrier boom (2) hinged to a barrier housing (1) and swivable in the vertical plane and a rail (6,6?) running parallel to the barrier boom. The ends of the stanchions (4,4?) with which they are swivably connected to a guide rail (6,6?) running parallel to the barrier boom (2) or to a guide groove (5) on the barrier boom (2) are designed as cranked ends (13), thereby avoiding dangerous shearing and pinching points. The stanchions (4,4?) have a multi-part design and can be assembled from the individual parts and mounted without using a tool and can be replaced individually when required.

  • Patent number: 8522477
Abstract: The invention relates to a rotary lock which is used to control the passage of people and comprises a locking unit that can be blocked and unblocked, can be rotated about an inclined rotational axis, and comprises preferably three blocking arms (2) which can successively, in progressive steps, be brought from a position blocking the passage of a person into a position freeing the passage of a person. In the event of a breakdown or danger, the unhindered passage of any number of people is enabled by locking a respective blocking arm (2) on a bearing plate (4) carrying the blocking arms (2) in an articulated manner (4), by means of a locking element (7) engaging in an opening (8). In the event of a breakdown, the locking element (7) of the blocking arm (2) located in the blocking position is mechanically released from the engagement in the opening (8), and an eccentric force applied to the blocking arm (2) pivots the same out of the normal position thereof into the release position thereof.

  • Patent number: 8020603
Abstract: A blocking element for a gate used as a checkpoint includes a housing having a height, a support having a second height and arranged in the housing, a horizontally directed pivot axis furnished on the support, and a pair of blocking vanes each of which are in a form of a circle sector, wherein the pair of blocking vanes are mounted, by way of a tapering sector inner side of the blocking vanes and such that the blocking vanes can pivot about the horizontally directed pivot axis. A drive motor is connected to the blocking vanes on the pivot axis, wherein the drive motor in response to a signal, slides one of the blocking vanes into the other in a telescopic manner from a position which blocks a passage of the gate into a position, which opens the passage of the gate, and wherein the blocking vanes can be drawn apart from one another in order to again block the passage of the gate.
