Patent number: 11090677Abstract: A method of delivering a glutinous substance from a cartridge to an applicator comprises receiving the cartridge inside a sleeve through an inlet of the sleeve when a pressure cap, coupled to the sleeve proximate the inlet, is in an open position. The method additionally comprises moving the pressure cap into a closed position to sealingly couple the pressure cap with a trailing end of the cartridge. The method also comprises selectively causing an automated coupler to automatically sealingly couple the applicator with a leading end of the cartridge when the cartridge is inside the sleeve and the pressure cap is in the closed position. The method further comprises applying pressure to the glutinous substance in the cartridge through a first pressure input of the pressure cap to urge the glutinous substance from the cartridge into the applicator.Type: GrantFiled: November 18, 2019Date of Patent: August 17, 2021Assignee: The Boeing CompanyInventors: John W. Pringle, IV, John J. Brown, Angelica Davancens, Frederick B. Frontiera, Martin Guirguis, Raul Tomuta, Richard P. Topf, Don D. Trend, Jake B. Weinmann, Thomas C. Hanson

Patent number: 9707987Abstract: A collapsible stroller includes a stroller frame, at least one hinge mechanism, a wheel, and a swivel mechanism. The stroller frame is moveable between a deployed position and a collapsed position. The hinge mechanism allows for movement of the stroller frame between the collapsed position and the deployed position. The swivel mechanism connects the wheel to the stroller frame. The swivel mechanism includes a vertical axle, a cam follower, and a cam. The vertical axle connects with the wheel and is rotatable with respect to the stroller frame about a vertical axis. The cam follower is fixed to the vertical axle. The cam includes a sloped cam surface at least partially surrounding the vertical axle. The sloped cam surface contacts the cam follower to move the cam follower along the sloped cam surface, which results in rotation of the vertical axle about the vertical axis.Type: GrantFiled: April 14, 2016Date of Patent: July 18, 2017Assignee: Helen of Troy LimitedInventors: Thomas C. Patent number: 9540027Abstract: A collapsible stroller includes a stroller frame, at least one hinge mechanism, and a hinge lock mechanism. The stroller frame is movable between a deployed position and a collapsed position. The at least one hinge mechanism is on the stroller frame and allows for movement of the stroller frame between the collapsed position and the deployed position. The hinge lock mechanism is capable of a locked state and an unlocked state. In the locked state, the hinge lock mechanism locks the at least one hinge mechanism to maintain the stroller frame in the deployed position. In the unlocked state, the hinge lock mechanism allows the stroller frame to move from the deployed position toward the collapsed position. The hinge lock mechanism includes a manually actuated first linkage and a manually actuated second linkage.Type: GrantFiled: October 5, 2015Date of Patent: January 10, 2017Assignee: Helen of Troy LimitedInventors: Thomas C. Publication number: 20110137931Abstract: A system that improves searching based on a search term by first capturing successful search strategies and then offering them in the results of a subsequent search based on the same search term. In the illustrative embodiment of the present invention, a search engine collects successful search sequences based on a search term, a database stores the search sequences and then provides them to the search engine in response to subsequent uses of the search term. The search engine comprises a data capture mechanism that gives a searcher a way of indicating when a successful search has been completed.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 22, 2009Publication date: June 9, 2011Applicant: AVAYA INC.Inventors: George William Erhart, Valentine C. Patent number: 6272347Abstract: Providing by a telecommunication switching system an automatic call distribution function using agents having wireless terminals by determining the location of the agents, determining the agents' skills, and routing calls to agents based on their physical location and the agents' skills. The telecommunication switching system determines the location of particular agents based on information obtained from wireless base stations. In addition, the telecommunication switching system transmits to the agent, who has been selected to help, the location where the agent is to go. This notification can be done utilizing a display on the wireless terminal or by using an audio message to the agent. Also, if an individual needing help goes off hook on a special wired telephone connected to the telecommunication switching system, the telecommunication switching system determines the location of the wired telephone and selects an agent who is then directed to the location of the wired telephone.Type: GrantFiled: September 30, 1997Date of Patent: August 7, 2001Assignee: Avaya Technology Corp.Inventors: Gary L.
