  • Publication number: 20150151925
Abstract: An air supported conveyor belt return reduces debris accumulation beneath the belt by shaping the belt to be higher in the center and supports it on a concave plenum wall that delivers air to the center so that debris migrates from under the belt due to the force of the air and gravity.

  • Patent number: 6668174
Abstract: A method and system provides for removing a number of channels from a larger pool of channels. The channels are assigned in ways to provide subscribers with both voice and digital data service. The system is designed to support POTS ISDN, and direct data service in a point to multipoint configuration. Channel concatenation provides a multiplicity of channels. The system utilizes frequency division duplex (FDD) operation so as to double capacity.

  • Patent number: 6512751
Abstract: A method and system for implementing various protocols for a Time Division Duplex (TDD) Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) wireless local loop system that utilizes unique embedded concentrated access and embedded data access in a Wireless Local Loop (WLL) is described. The method and system further provides for dynamic pool sizing of the access channels. The protocols support POTS (Plain Old Telephone), ISDN, and direct data service in a point to multi-point configuration. The protocols are inherently flexible so as to provide Enhanced Bandwidth and quality of service (QOS) via CDMA. Channel concatenation (multi-code modulation) provides a multiplicity of channels. The system utilizes frequency division duplex (FDD) operation so as to double capacity. The system further utilizes scaleable architecture for bandwidth expansion and higher data rate services.

  • Patent number: 6131012
Abstract: A method and system for assigning multiple wireless communication channels in a Time Division Duplex (TDD) Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) wireless local loop system that utilizes unique embedded concentrated access and embedded data access in a Wireless Local Loop (WLL) is described. The method and system provides for removing a number of channels, called a bank, from a larger pool of channels. The removed bank of channels are then assigned in ways to provide subscribers with both voice and digital data service. The system is designed to support POTS (Plain Old Telephone), ISDN, and direct data service in a point to multi-point configuration. The system is inherently flexible so as to provide Enhanced Bandwidth and quality of service (QOS) via CDMA. Channel concatenation (multi-code modulation) provides a multiplicity of channels. • Patent number: 5705250
Abstract: A wear and shock resistant ceramic-cored composite panel (11) for use in equipment exposed to heavy abrasive materials comprising a plurality of commensurately shaped generally planar layers. The layers are comprised of and sequentially arranged in the following order: a ceramic layer (12); a first fiberglass reinforced plastic composite layer (13); a resilient core layer for absorbing impact energy imparted indirectly thereto by the heavy abrasive materials (14); and a second fiberglass reinforced plastic composite layer (16), wherein the layers are consecutively bonded together in the order set out above by an adhesive, then secured to various sites of wear inside equipment by known types of attachment or utilized as structural members themselves.
